He is very sweet and gentle and learning what it’s like to be a much loved companion in his foster home after being in a hoarding situation most of his short life. He is learning housetraining quickly from the resident dog and he sleeps peacefully in his crate at night. Batman is neutered, up to date with vaccs and microchipped. Meet Nacho (aka Gus) – The Cutest Little Sweetheart! Nacho is an almost 7 year-old, ~8-lb Yorkie who has truly started to come out of his shell. He may be a little shy at first , but once he feels safe, he becomes the sweetest, most affectionate little lovebug! Nacho does best in a home with another dog and a confident canine companion is required. He loves following their lead and gains comfort and confidence from having a furry friend. He is also gentle with cats and kind with children . When called softly in a calm voice, Nacho happily comes trotting over. He doesn’t love loud noises or sudden movements, so a quiet, gentle home that understands his needs is where he’ll truly shine . Nacho is looking for a home that will allow him time to decompress and understands that patience and consistency are key to earning his trust. He’s a perfect example of the Rule of 3 — giving him the space and time he needs to settle in, feel secure, and build confidence at his own pace. He enjoys roaming freely around the house, snuggling in his dog bed (or yours ), and sleeps peacefully through the night. Potty training is going well — he does his business outside and wears a belly band indoors just to be safe. Nacho also LOVES toys and happily carries them around like little treasures . A fenced yard isn’t required, but he really enjoys having one to explore. He’s not a runner or a jumper and prefers to stay close to his people.
