EVERYTHING WE KNOW ABOUT THESE RESCUES IS LISTED HERE. IF YOU EMAIL US ASKING IF WE GOT YOUR APPLICATION, HAS IT BEEN PROCESSED, IF THE DOG IS STILL AVAILABLE OR QUESTIONS ABOUT THE DOG IN GENERAL WE WILL NOT REPLY. WE GIVE YOU ALL DETAILS HERE. AFTER 14 DAYS AND YOU HAVE NOT HEARD FROM US, YOUR APPLICATION WAS NOT CHOSEN. IT DOES NOT MEAN YOU WERE NOT APPROVED, WE HOLD THEM FOR 1 YR. IT SIMPLY MEANS WE HAVE ONE DOG AND FOUND THE BEST HOME FOR THAT RESCUE. PLEASE ALLOW US 14 BUSINESS DAYS FROM THE DAY YOU SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION FOR IT TO BE COMPLETED. THE MOST COMMON HOLD UP ON APPLICATIONS IS YOUR REFERENCES HAVE NO IDEA YOU'VE GIVEN THEIR NAME AND CONTACT INFO. THEY DO NOT REPLY, OR YOU HAVE GIVEN US THE INCORRECT EMAIL FOR US TO CONTACT THEM. YOU MUST BE RESPONSIBLE TO FIRST ASK YOUR REFERENCE IF YOU MAY USE THEIR NAME, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE BOTH EMAIL AND PHONE NUMBER FOR US. AND CHECK THE EMAIL TO ASSURE IT'S CORRECT. SKIP is a pure bred Yorshire Terrier, turned 2 yrs old, on Christmas Eve. He is black and tan and very small. He is UTD on vaccines/rabies and Bordetella, groomed and microchipped. He is neutered and heartworm negative. He’s on heartworm prevention and been dewormed. SKIP is only about 5-6 lbs.
Skip is shy of everything at first. He came as a breeder surrender, along with others. He needs lots of love and patience. He is not aggressive, but all the new surroundings, he needs time to acclimate. He will make someone a great pet if they show him a lot of love and attention. He is happy being held and being close to you. Skip is really good about using a pee pad. These dogs lived outdoors and still learning to go out on command.
He is good with dogs. He loves to cuddle and sleep in bed with you. He is NOT a fan of being left alone and would do best with another dog. No kids for him as he needs more attention one on one to know he is safe. He does best in a quiet home.
