Meet Gia! I’m a 7 year young purebred black and tan Yorkie. I weigh about 7 lbs and act like a puppy. I was surrendered by my family because they don’t have time for me with the new baby coming in December. I love kids and did fine with the 4 children in the home but want to be the only pet. I’m a Velcro girl who follows you everywhere! I’m housebroken, leash trained, microchipped, spayed and up to date with shots, deworming and flea orevention.

Reggie is an 8 month old Yorkie/ Chihuahua mix who looks like a Yorkie with a tail. He is good with kids, cats and other small dogs. He weighs about 4 lbs and is ready for his forever home! He was surrendered by a breeder because his right eye was scratched while playing with his liter mates. He is microchipped, neutered, up to date with shots, deworming and flea prevention. Meet Millie! 🐾 Millie is a sweet senior Yorkie mix with a happy, affectionate personality. She loves snuggling, especially when wrapped in a cozy blanket, and enjoys following you around the house before settling quietly in her crate or dog bed. Millie thrives in calm environments and gets along well with relaxed dogs who give her space. Her vision seems a little reduced, so she may run into things occasionally—extra care around stairs is important. Millie is a picky eater and only eats wet food, but when she finds one she likes, she’s a great little eater. She isn’t interested in toys but loves attention and cuddles. She’s house trained and will go potty immediately when carried outside. Millie enjoys calming music in her crate and tends to be wary of loud noises, squeaky toys, and young children, and she would probably ignore cats. Despite her sensitivities, she is incredibly friendly and will happily soak up affection from her people. The shelter is open Tuesday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A meet-and-greet is required for all shelter dogs if you already have a dog.
