Story
Meet Martin, a one-year-old Schnoodle-Yorkie mix with a heart full of love and a personality that shines. With his soft, wavy coat and bright, expressive eyes, he’s as charming as he is affectionate. He just turned a year old and has already mastered the art of balancing playful energy with sweet cuddles, making him the perfect companion for an active yet loving home. Martin’s journey to our rescue wasn’t an easy one. He was originally adopted as a puppy by a family who adored him but soon realized they weren’t prepared for the responsibility of a young dog. As their schedules became busier, Martin spent more and more time alone, without the attention and engagement he needed. Wanting the best for him, they made the difficult decision to surrender him to our rescue, hoping we could find him a family that could give him the life he deserves. Now, Martin is ready for his forever home! He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines. He also had a fecal sample sent to the lab to make sure he's healthy and ready for adoption. UPDATE: His fecal sample was negative (: He gets along with other dogs although he can be a bit shy at first. He is leash-trained, crate-trained, and house-trained. He currently sleeps in his crate peacefully at night but would enjoy sleeping in a bed beside yours if you prefer❤️ He loves meeting new people, greeting everyone with a wagging tail and a happy, eager demeanor. His playful energy makes him a joy to be around, whether he’s zooming around the yard, chasing a favorite toy, or simply enjoying a nice walk. He thrives on affection and will happily curl up next to you after a long day. He’s smart, eager to learn, and picks up on commands quickly. He will do almost anything for some treats 😂❤️ Martin is looking for a forever home where he will be cherished as part of the family. If you’re searching for a loving, loyal, and playful companion, Martin might just be the perfect match! Located in Hesperia, CA. We offer out-of-state adoptions and can arrange transportation to your location, provided that the transport expenses are covered. We have a transport stop leaving for NorCal/Oregon on April 25 and would love to include him on the trip for the right home! 🥰🐾 Get in touch with us today and share details about yourself, the loving home you can provide, and your experience with the breed. We will be in contact with you shortly. Thank you!

Story
I got Harley about six months ago from a family in Washington state there were no records. I bought it for my roommate because she wanted an additional dog to play with my Chiweenie once we got it. We set up a visit with our vet and got all his shots up-to-date after about three months we got it neutered so all Shot are up-to-date and he is neutered. Unfortunately the roommate had to leave abruptly over a month ago and I need to downgrade to a smaller apartment and I no longer have a space for both dogs so that is why I need to rehome Harley.

Story
Hi, I`m Truffles aka Truffs aka Mr. Tibbets, aka Tibby. I have a lot of names because I love hanging around with everyone at the party, going from lap to lap, getting nicknames and lots of pets. Everyone loves me because I am cute, sweet, and funny. I`m about 11 years old and I have an abnormal jaw that leaves my tongue hanging out all the time, and I have a stubby little tail, and I kind of look like a Muppet, and this makes all my foster mom`s friends love me even more! I am always the star of game night, getting all the lap love I can from each guest! I eat regular food even though my jaw is weird, and I will go potty outside if you take me, but I wear diapers sometimes just in case of dribbling. I have lots of little outfits, make weird little faces, and I make funny little noises that entertain my foster family. I am old but just love being the center of attention, like a funny old grandfather. I`m very light, just 6 pounds, and can get up and down stairs but need help getting up onto a high sofa or bed. I like to be near you if you`re home, but otherwise there isn`t much to do to keep me happy. I`m just thrilled to be invited to the party, no matter how big or small! I`d be a great companion to you if you would like a laid back dog who is in his golden years but young at heart. I am not one to walk on a leash but if you put me in a carrier Ill go with you for a walk. I am fully vetted and microchipped. If you would like to meet me please fill out the dog application on OFOSA.ORG. My adoption fee is $300.

Story
Tinkerbell is a precious, purebred Yorkshire Terrier looking for a loving, quiet home to spend her golden years. At about 14–15 years old, she weighs only 3 pounds and is the perfect little lap companion. Despite her age, she is in good health overall, with some arthritis that comes with being a senior. Tinkerbell has no teeth, so she enjoys soft foods and gentle care. She spends most of her time napping and would love a calm, cozy environment where she can relax and be doted on. She does require some basic grooming to keep her comfortable and looking her best. Tinkerbell would do best in a home without young children or other pets, where she can be the center of attention and enjoy a peaceful, stress-free life. If you're looking for a tiny, sweet companion to share quiet moments with, Tinkerbell might just be your perfect match! This is my mother dog and she is now in memory care with dementia, they will not allow her to keep her beloved Tinker. I am unable to keep her.

Story
We are currently on a transport where we are personally taking our dogs home that we left on 5/3/25 to NorCal and OR. Surrounding states will be added to our route if needed ☺️ We have Misty on our trip and would love to find her a good family/human and home to call her own💕 Meet Misty! She is our sweet little Maltese/yorkie mix. She turned 1 year of age on 1/20/25. She weighs 4.7 lbs. Yes, she is full grown and at a very healthy weight. She is just very petite, and naturally small. She is all legs 🙃 She is beautifully natured, and all around the perfect companion to anyone's life ❤️ She is spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped, and thourely examined by our vet who has cleared her to find a home all her own. She is a complete doll!! She is very sweet, and has an extremely submissive demeanor. She would thrive in a home where she would be the princess to her family, and yes! She would happily share that title with another sweet friend if you happen to have another dog, or even a cat in your home ❤️ She loves every animal, and has a heart that exceeds her tiny little self as her love is MIGHTY and meant to be shared with all that are blessed to become a part of it❤️❤️❤️ She is wonderful with men, women, and children alike. She would make a single person happier than they have ever been the same way she would complete even the most complete families ❤️ She is not high energy whatsoever so don't allow her age to be a deciding factor in adding her to your life. She is calm, and loves to just hang out doing whatever you want to do even if most days are lazy days she will happily be a part of every single one of them! She has an adventurous little heart, and loves to go for car rides no matter the length. She gets so excited to drive around town, especially if she gets to gaze out of the window and take it all in 💕 Want to take a road trip out of town? Camp? Hang out at a dog friendly restaurant? Visit a pet friendly hotel? She is DEFINITELY your girl to do all of it with!!! She is not a barker, but will alert you of unfamiliar noises here and there. She is very confident that her person can handle investigating things on their own so she will keep the seat warm til you get back as a token of appreciation for keeping her safe ❤️ She is house trained but due to her small size she is always accompanied outside. We have a very solid routine throughout the day to make sure she has ample time outside to potty which eliminates any accidents inbetween. She is also pad trained in the event you are unable to take her out due to being out of the home. She is also crate trained, and will happily nap in a crate when you are out of the home, or during the night if that's what you prefer. She will also do very well being in a bed all her own, or in bed with you if you are okay with that! She is highly adaptable and very easy going. She doesn't mind what you ask of her, and always happily complies ❤️❤️❤️ She is leash trained, and loves taking her time to smell every beautiful flower she lays her eyes on 🌸 She has a very fun loving, outgoing, confident personality and truly loves to just be a part of anything and everything she can be a part of especially if it's aside her favorite human/family. Her prior owner had never owned a small breed before Misty, and didn't feel her size was the right fit for her lifestyle. She loved her immensely, but wanted her to be in a home where she was valued, appreciated, and loved the way she deserved so she reached out to us to take her in and find her the home she deserved. Her adoption fee is on our website at the bottom of her adoption listing at https://www.breadoflifek9refuge.org/post/misty-1 It covers her spay. She was in heat at the time of her spay so there was an in-heat increase as she required longer anesthesia time. She had a dental exam, her overall teeth were in great health but she did have two baby teeth that needed to be removed so they wouldn't cause any issues down the line. She received an antibiotic injection to aid in the healing of her in heat spay, and extractions. She received her yearly vaccines, has been microchipped, and officially cleared from our vet to find a home all her own! As always, her adoption fee also goes back into the months of care she has recieved while with us here, her grooming costs, and training we have personally done with her ❤️
