DOB 4-24-2025 Izzie is looking for a Mom! She is a baby that likes to stay close, a 24 hour girl. Izzie is social, loves to play, gets along great with others and wants to be an important part of her future home. She will be between 7 and 8 pounds, has a natural tail and gorgeous ears with a cute little face. She is very smart and focused. She is up to date on all medical, spayed, heartworm negative and has received a ProHeart6 heartworm preventative infection. Her adoption fee is 900.00 and her transport fee is 165.00. Our transport is HEARTS LLC they leave every other Friday to deliver their stops on Saturday to the East Coast The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Cookie — a tiny sweetheart with a BIG love for snuggles! Cookie joined our rescue as a local owner surrender due to her owner becoming incarcerated, and now she’s ready for her next chapter. Cookie is a purebred Yorkshire Terrier, estimated to be around 3 years old, and she’s truly petite at just 7 pounds! She recently enjoyed a spa day at Pet Bath & Beyond, and she’s looking (and feeling!) absolutely adorable. This little girl is an absolute doll. Cookie is very sweet, loves people, and fits right in with her foster family, which includes other dogs and cats—she does great with all of them! She also lived with children in her previous home and is comfortable around them. True to her Yorkie roots, Cookie is happiest curled up with her person and soaking up all the love. If you’re looking for a loyal lap companion, she’s your girl! Cookie was clearly well loved in her original home, but she did not receive formal training. She is not a fan of the crate, and her foster mom is currently working on house training using pee pads, which Cookie is using successfully. We believe she may have worn a diaper previously, based on some hair loss on her legs, so continued training and patience will be important in her new home. Cookie is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventatives. Her adoption fee is $450.
