PRISSY & CHARLIE – YORKIES - TO BE ADOPTED TOGETHER - Email fogcarescue@gmail.com for more info and/or an application. These two little ones, Prissy and Charlie, are simply precious…both are sweet, happy, loveable and very good natured. They love being around people and really enjoy any personal attention that they wish to lavish them with. Although they came from an adult home, they are good with older kids…they are also good with other dogs. Both of them are pretty spunky and active…Prissy may be a little more so than Charlie. They both love their outside play time/potty time. Prissy is so funny, she especially loves to run around hunting for little varmints to chase after. They both think they are much bigger than they actually are…they’ll run out to the kennels and bark at the much bigger dogs and scratch off like they’re really tough lol. Due to cataracts starting up, Charlie can see but his sight isn’t great. He gets around pretty well though & it won’t take him long at all to familiarize himself with his new home. Once he does he will be able to navigate a lot better. Prissy and Charlie are siblings but are about 1 ½ years apart and they have always been together, so we want them to be adopted together. They have been very well cared for and have received everything that they need to keep them in the best of health and happy. They are used to sleeping in their crate, both are house and crate trained and have the run of the house when their Mom is home. The lady that owned them decided that she wanted to travel and thought it was unfair to leave them at home alone or board them, so she asked us to find them a great new home. She just wants them to be the center of attention and loved as much as she loves them. Prissy is 9 years and Charlie is 8 years old and they both weigh about 7 – 7 ½ pounds. They have been spayed/neutered, 4DX heartworm tested, microchipped, fecal tested, are current on all vaccinations, worming, heartworm and flea prevention. Their adoption fee is $600 for the two of them & that includes transport to our pickup stops in MD, PA, NY & CT. They are being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted they will be transported to their pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the Northeast area every week and their fee includes transportation. Due to state laws, we cannot accept applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine since we can’t adopt directly to residents of those states. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Lucky aka TJ is a 7 year old, 6 pound yorkie looking for a forever home. Yes he is handsome, yes he is sweet, but Lucky isn't so lucky because he does have epilepsy. Epilepsy or seizures have plagued him for many years, and he did have 1 seizure while in rescue likely due to the health issues he was dealing with. Lucky is on 2 antiseizure medications and thriving now that he is all fixed up! The medications are not very costly, but he does need a dose every 8 hours so a new family must be able to accommodate his medication regimen. Thankfully his seizure activity is mild when he has them and labeled as tonic clonic meaning a safe environment when unsupervised is also necessary. He has been seizure free since November 2023! Lucky is house trained, crate trained, leash trained, and loves to play. He gets along with everyone he meets and enjoys snuggling his furry foster siblings. To adopt Lucky, please complete an adoption application at peacelovepoms.rescuegroups.org. The $350 adoption donation includes core vaccines (Rabies, Parvo/Distemper, and Bordatella), Accuplex (Heart worm and Lyme test), fecal, microchip, bloodwork, neuter, dental, and all the love you can handle!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 3, 2024, 5:49 am

Story
Murphy Joe, rescued on 1/13/24, is an extremely sweet but still a little shy, black and tan, male yorkie born on 3/31/22. He loves to snuggle once you pick him up and he is starting to act playful with his foster mom. He weighed 8.4 pounds on 1/15/24. Due to his small size, he will not be considered for homes with young children. He was neutered, had a small growth removed from his eyelid, and given a dental on 2/9/24. He is up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and microchipped. His adoption donation is $800 which includes the $165 transport fee. If you would like to adopt Murphy Joe, please complete the first step in the adoption process by filling out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application, please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer will contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Story
“Miss” Abby, a gorgeous, 10 pound, silver platinum female yorkie born 11/2/20 is no longer a working girl and waltzed into her foster mom’s home ready to lay claim and become a house dog. She took over and made herself at home immediately. She is so ready for a home of her own where she can be pampered and spoiled outrageously. Her favorite place to lounge, besides in a chair with her foster mom, is on the back of the recliner where she can look out on the deck and back yard. She sleeps in the bed with her foster mom and that will be a must for her new parent(s). This little gal has a HUGE personality. She gets along well with the other dogs at her foster mom’s home, walks well on a leash and rides well in the car. Abby is spayed and had her teeth cleaned, is up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on heartworm and flea and tick prevention to maintain her good health. She is also microchipped. Abby’s adoption donation is $1200 plus an additional $165 transport fee. If you would like to make Abby your newest family member, please complete the first step in the adoption process by filling out an online adoption application.
