I was found as a stray in Harrisburg, PA but luckily SAY Rescue pulled me out of the shelter and brought me to my new foster family in Livingston, NJ! I am around 11 lbs and estimated to be around 2 years old.  My favorite activities are:  1. Cuddling and being close with my foster mom or foster doggy brother 2. Short walks (I'm great on a leash!) 3. Rolling around on my back and digging imaginary holes 4. Sleeping in bed between my foster mommy and daddy My foster mommy says I'm the cutest thing ever. Just look at me! I'm not a fan of being in my crate but I will tolerate it after some whining. I am learning to play fetch and to ring the bell when I want to go outside. I get along great with my foster brother and love to chase and follow him around the yard. I do like getting all the attention, though. Whenever my foster mommy pets my foster brother, I try to wiggle in to get in on the action. I am very good at doing all my business outside but I occaisionally like to mark my territory so my foster mommy sometimes puts me in a belly band. With some consistent training, I should get over this pretty quickly and am doing much better already. I am a playful, spunky guy that also enjoys relaxing and cuddling. I love being close and am looking for a forever home to give me all the love and attention I deserve. Could that be you? Scroll down to see more pictures of this dog. Gia will be available for adoption after she has her luxating patella surgery completed and she has healed from the surgery. She is 7 months old and weighs 3 lbs. Her adoption fee is 1,200.00. Gia came into rescue at just 16 weeks old and in need of hernia repair and spaying and all her vaccines.  Now she is currently up to date and has had her hernia repaired and spayed. She is slowly adjusting to humans as Gia was left alone with only her siblings and mama dog for 12 to 14 hours a day.  She is working on her house training and basic commands.  She is frightened by most new experiences but is again slowly coming around to trust her foster parents that she will be safe.  Gia is not a cuddly bug and enjoys the company of other dogs.  She will need a home with a fenced yard and other young dogs to show her the ropes and learn from.  Currently Gia is still pending a significant medical issue that will require surgery. Gia was born with a luxated patella when she is fully grown which should be in September.  In the meantime, she continues to work on becoming more socialize with humans.  We are absolutely positive Gia will be a happy, healthy and well adjusted, little pup once she is finally ready for her forever home. Gia is staying with Donna in Brick, NJ.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 11, 2026, 1:02 am

Scroll down to see more pictures of this dog. Sandi is available for adoption. She is 8 years old and weighs 7 lbs. Her adoption fee is $700.00. Meet Sandi! She is a sweet, gentle, seven-pound, eight-year-old Yorkie looking for her forever home. Sandi came to SAY Rescue when her previous adopter (from the shelter) found out that she needed to undergo surgery to remove a bladder stone. She has recovered wonderfully and is feeling great. To keep her healthy, she will need to stay on a specialized prescription dog food for life, which she thoroughly enjoys—especially when mixed with a little warm water! Here are a few highlights about Sandi: - Affectionate & Gentle: Loves giving kisses, having her tummy scratched, and being around people. - Active & Happy: Enjoys running in the grass and looks forward to her daily walks. - House-Trained: Fully housebroken for outdoors and also pad-trained. - Great Companion: Gets along well with other small dogs and would probably like another dog in the       house. Sandi is fully recovered, adorable, and ready to find a loving home. If you or someone you know might be the right fit, please let us know! Scroll down to see more pictures of this dog. Dylan is available for adoption. He is estimated to be 4 years old and weighs 15 lbs. His adoption fee is $600.00.   Meet Dylan: The Resilient, Toy-Loving Shadow! Look at this little face and try not to fall in love! Dylan is a 15 pound Yorkie with a big personality, an even bigger heart, and a spirit that simply couldn’t be broken. Found severely emaciated on the streets of Philadelphia, Dylan was so fragile that rescuers had to use soft blankets just to lift him safely. But this brave boy is a true warrior. After dedicated hospital care and a specialized refeeding program, Dylan has tripled his weight, regained his energy, and is ready for his true fresh start. Why You’ll Fall Head Over Heels for Dylan: Ultimate Shadow: Dylan adores toys, but his favorite place in the world is right by your side. He will happily follow you from room to room as your most loyal companion. Smart & Eager: He already knows basic commands and is diligently making great progress on his house training! A Total Sweetheart: Despite everything he’s overcome, Dylan trusts deeply. He is a rockstar at the vet... handling all his checkups and greets every human he meets with warmth and affection. Cozy Pack Member: Dylan gets along well with other dogs in the right circumstances. He currently curls up to sleep in a little Yorkie snuggle pile with his foster siblings. He can share a home with other pups (with proper, patient introductions) or happily soak up all the love as your one-and-only. Adventure Companion: He loves car rides, craves outdoor playtime, and is always up for a fun day out. Dylan’s Ideal Home: Work-from-Home or Present Humans: Dylan thrives on connection and would love a family where someone is around often. Active Lifestyle: He’s looking for an active family who loves getting outdoors and taking him along for the ride. Door Safety Conscious: Dylan has a fast pair of legs and loves to bolt! A secure front door, cautious family members, and a safe yard/leash routine are a must to keep him safe. We don't know much about Dylan's past but he is a brave little survivor, and now all he needs is a forever home to complete his story. If you’re looking for a loving, resilient, and affectionate companion to fill your home with joy, apply to meet Dylan today! Dylan is staying with Amanda in Washington, DC.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 11, 2026, 1:02 am
