It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.
The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old.
DAMEON and his 4 siblings (BAELON - VISERYS - AEMOND - AEGON) were turned in to the shelter as strays. But by their mannerisms and as healthy as they were, we believe they were kittens born to a domestic mama cat. These guys are the absolute sweetest kittens ever!
Say hello to DAMEON, a delightful Abyssinian Tabby from Hemet, California known for his playful spirit, sweet demeanor, and, of course, his love for cuddles! DAMEON is a true charmer who not only loves his humans but also adores his fellow cat friends—he’s all about socializing and spending time with his feline pals. Whether he’s chasing a toy, curling up next to you for a cozy cuddle, or just following you around like a little shadow, DAMEON is sure to fill your home with warmth and joy.
A little diva at heart, DAMEON knows exactly how to work his charm and will happily accept being pampered with attention. He’s a big fan of canned food and treats, so don’t be surprised if he lets you know when it’s time for a snack—his adorable “feed me” look is impossible to resist. But when it’s not snack time, DAMEON is all about affection, and he’ll happily climb into your lap or let you scoop him up for some extra love.
One of DAMEON’s favorite pastimes is following his humans around the house, making sure you’re never far from his gaze. His playful, energetic nature means there’s never a dull moment when he’s around, and you can always count on him to bring some excitement and fun to your day. He thrives in a loving environment where he gets plenty of attention, and he’s more than happy to share his love with his fellow cats.

DAMEON is a DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / ABYSSINIAN-TABBY MIX. He is over 3 year and 0 months. He has lived with dogs and Guinea pigs. He is good with cats. He has never been around young children but has been with pre-teens.

ADOPTION PROCESS:

2. Fill Out Online Form
3. Submit Online Application
4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do a Phone Interview
5. Will be notified of Approved Application
6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED)
7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty
8. Sign Adoption Contract
9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH)
10. Take the Kitty Home

AUGUST 2025: VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.
Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning ONLY. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is between 5 pm - 8 pm (Monday thru Saturday) and Sunday 3 pm - 6 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please call the PetSmart location, email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3-hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability and store hours. Store hours change with holidays.

The kitties at foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do the OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below.

The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done. Gas donations always appreciated!

If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.
Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.
We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient.

FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative)
Drontal Dewormer
Stronghold Flea Control

We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.
