PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW. IT WILL ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS. If you still have questions after, we are happy to respond through email. It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old. DAMEON and his 4 siblings (BAELON - VISERYS - AEMOND - AEGON) were turned in to the shelter as strays. But by their mannerisms and as healthy as they were, we believe they were kittens born to a domestic mama cat. These guys are the absolute sweetest kittens ever! Say hello to DAMEON, a delightful Abyssinian Tabby from Hemet, California known for his playful spirit, sweet demeanor, and, of course, his love for cuddles! DAMEON is a true charmer who not only loves his humans but also adores his fellow cat friends—he’s all about socializing and spending time with his feline pals. Whether he’s chasing a toy, curling up next to you for a cozy cuddle, or just following you around like a little shadow, DAMEON is sure to fill your home with warmth and joy. A little diva at heart, DAMEON knows exactly how to work his charm and will happily accept being pampered with attention. He’s a big fan of canned food and treats, so don’t be surprised if he lets you know when it’s time for a snack—his adorable “feed me” look is impossible to resist. But when it’s not snack time, DAMEON is all about affection, and he’ll happily climb into your lap or let you scoop him up for some extra love. One of DAMEON’s favorite pastimes is following his humans around the house, making sure you’re never far from his gaze. His playful, energetic nature means there’s never a dull moment when he’s around, and you can always count on him to bring some excitement and fun to your day. He thrives in a loving environment where he gets plenty of attention, and he’s more than happy to share his love with his fellow cats. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful companion who’ll shower you with affection, treats, and maybe even a few diva-like demands, DAMEON might be the perfect fit for you! One was 8 weeks old. KOALA was saved by an independent rescuer back in late 2021. She was young. Well fast forward to 1 year ago, the lady was killed by a drunk driver. We were asked to help with her rescues and to our dismay, her house was a horrific hoarding case. We pulled 55 cats that were still alive. Our rescue took 26 of those cats into out rescue. KOALA is the eight one to be ready for adoption. And still with us after a year. KOALA can be shy at first. She gets comfortable very quick and is curious about everything. She can get startled, but will come back and investigate. She gets very excited about her can food. He is a very good assistant and loves to help you do your chores (well she will chase the broom and mop). Meet KOALA, a young feline filled with a vibrant spirit and an independent streak. Her sweetness is as infectious as her playful antics, making every moment with her a joy. She's curious and smart, always on the hunt for a new adventure. Her goofy, gentle nature will have you chuckling, while her mellow demeanor ensures she's never too much to handle. She'll flop on her side to catch your attention, her tail curling in delight. KOALA is loyal and brave, her energy boundless. She's a cuddly companion, ready to offer comfort or join in playtime. This brave, energetic cat is waiting for a forever home where her unique personality can shine. Adopt KOALA and let her fill your life with laughter, love, and endless amusement. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! OCTAVIA BLAKE and her siblings (CLARKE GRIFFIN, RAVEN REYES, LINCOLN, JOHN MURPHY and BELLAMY BLAKE) were saved in Menifee, California. The couple saved the kittens and got mom fixed. They fostered them till they were ready for us to take them. They were all named after the show The 100. Meet OCTAVIA BLAKE, a sweet and Abyssinian Tabico from Menifee, California, whose heart is as warm as her beautifully patched coat of cinnamon, cream, and smoky gray. With her playful personality and endless affection, OCTAVIA BLAKE is the kind of feline friend who turns every day into a cozy little adventure. She’s an explorer at heart—always the first to venture into a new room or peek behind a curtain with wide, curious eyes. Whether she's following a trail of toys or just chasing shadows in a sunbeam, OCTAVIA BLAKE brings a delightful spark of wonder to everything she does. But don’t be fooled by her adventurous side—this girl is also a certified cuddle expert. One of OCTAVIA BLAKE’s favorite places in the world? Right beside her person. She loves to curl up for a nap next to her human, her soft purrs humming like a lullaby. She offers the perfect blend of independence and companionship—exploring her surroundings with enthusiasm and then settling in close when it's time to rest. And when it comes to feline friendships, OCTAVIA BLAKE is a total sweetheart. She thrives in the company of other cats, sharing toys, affection, and the occasional game of tag with gentle enthusiasm. Her Abyssinian heritage shines through in her sleek frame, big expressive eyes, and high intelligence. Tabico markings make her especially unique, giving her a one-of-a-kind look that matches her one-of-a-kind heart. Whether she’s batting at a feather wand or simply lounging nearby while you go about your day, she brings warmth, joy, and a comforting sense of companionship. OCTAVIA BLAKE has been raised in a calm and quiet home and would thrive in a loving environment where she can keep up her favorite routines: exploring, snuggling, and bonding with both feline and human friends. Could OCTAVIA BLAKE be the cozy, playful companion your heart’s been searching for? OCTAVIA BLAKE is a DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / ABYSSINIAN TABICO MIX. She is about 1 year old 0 months old. She has lived with cats. She has never been around children and is non-reactive to cat friendly dogs. Meet RAVEN REYES, a curious Abyssinian Dilute torbie from Menifee, California, whose spirit is equal parts explorer and sweetheart, wrapped in a beautifully soft swirl of silvery blue and cream. With a heart full of adventure and a nose that always leads her to the next great discovery, RAVEN REYES is the first to step into new spaces, tail high and eyes wide with wonder. This little trailblazer doesn’t just explore the world—she embraces it with kindness. RAVEN REYES is gentle and considerate with her siblings, often pausing her play to groom and cuddle them. Whether she’s chasing a toy mouse, batting a jingly ball, or gleefully batting a lone piece of kibble across the floor like it’s the crown jewel of toys, RAVEN REYES turns every moment into playtime. She has a real talent for finding joy in the little things, and her playful energy is as contagious as her contented purrs. RAVEN REYES is also a total people-watcher. She loves to perch nearby while you work, her big curious eyes soaking in every movement like she’s trying to crack the mystery of what humans actually do all day. She thrives on companionship and adores being pet—just the sight of a hand reaching her way gets that motor running! And she loves sitting on your lap to get lots of love! Though she’s lived in a quiet home without children, she’s been exposed to the sound of dogs thanks to a chatty neighbor pup, so she may adjust to a home with calm canine companions. She’s got a brave streak too—yes, she’ll dart away at the sound of the vacuum, but moments later, she’s right there investigating like a tiny detective on the case. Cuddly, observant, and endlessly curious, RAVEN REYES is ready to bring love, laughter, and a dash of feline mischief to a new loving home. Could she be the delightful new addition your family has been waiting for? RAVEN REYES is a DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / DILUTED ABYSSINIAN TORBIE MIX. She is about 1 year 1 month old. KOALA is a DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / ABYSSINIAN-TABBY MIX. She is over 2 years 8 months old. She has lived with cats and dogs. She has never been around children. KOALA is currently at our rescue in Hemet, California. ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT) 2. Fill Out Online Form 3. Submit Online Application 4. COMMANDER ROBERT "BOB" HICKS was found in a lady's back yard in San Jacinto, California. Her dogs kept chasing them out. She ended up catching him and his foster siblings (DANIEL HARRELSON, SERGEANT DONOVAN ROCKER, OFFICER VICTOR TAN and SERGEANT DAVID "DEACON" KAY). She put them in her garage and in a frantic realization called everywhere to have them saved. You see she discovered they hit puberty and were trying to get out, leaving nasty smells and fighting. Lucky for her all 5 of them were boys. They are with our rescue now. He has been living with another set of foster siblings more his age. His foster siblings are: CSI DR. GIL GRISSON, CSI SARA SIDLE and CSI DR RAY LANGSTON. These guys came from different area but were closer to his age. Meet COMMANDER ROBERT "BOB" HICKS, a dignified Siamese gentleman from San Jacinto, California with striking blue eyes and a soft coat that’s a masterpiece of cream and chocolate tones. Despite his fancy name, COMMANDER ROBERT "BOB" HICKS is a humble soul who prefers a quiet, laid-back life with just the right amount of playful mischief sprinkled in. COMMANDER ROBERT "BOB" HICKS is a bit shy at first, but his heart is easily won over with the right approach—specifically, the rustle of a treat bag or the intoxicating allure of catnip. Those are the keys to this reserved fellow’s affections. Once he feels comfortable, his playful side emerges, and you’ll find him bouncing after toy springs with a mix of focus and feline enthusiasm that’s downright endearing. Though he isn’t one for long cuddle sessions, COMMANDER ROBERT "BOB" HICKS will graciously allow gentle pets before retreating to his personal space. He’s a fan of companionship on his own terms, giving just enough to remind you of his affection without overwhelming his independent streak. COMMANDER ROBERT "BOB" HICKS is a friend to other cats and enjoys their company, making him a fantastic addition to a multi-cat household. He’s also impressively nonchalant around dogs, showing no signs of stress or worry in their presence. While he hasn’t had any experience with children, his calm demeanor suggests he’d adapt well to older, gentle kids who understand his boundaries. Siamese cats like COMMANDER ROBERT "BOB" HICKS are known for their intelligence and social nature, and he brings his unique spin to these traits with a quiet charm that’s all his own. Whether he’s batting at springs, lounging nearby, or enjoying a treat-filled bonding moment, Bob is a cat who brings a steady, comforting presence to his home. Are you ready to open your heart and home to COMMANDER ROBERT "BOB" HICKS? This handsome, sweet-natured Siamese is ready to find a peaceful, loving home where he can thrive. Apply to meet him today. Could your home be the next stop for this gentle Commander’s journey? COMMANDER ROBERT "BOB" HICKS is DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / SIAMESE CHOCOLATE POINT MIX. One was 8 weeks old. FALKOR was saved by an independent rescuer. He was found on a busy street in Compton, California. The poor little guy was by himself and very malnourished. We were asked to help and now he is with our rescue. FALKOR was introduced to a group of kittens his age that have taught him to play and socialize. He plays very rough. His roommates were: NUGGET - EMINEM - LAURYN HILL - LIL PUN - 50 CENT. He really enjoys the company of his cat friends. Meet FALKOR, a teen with a heart full of love and a spirit of adventure. His sweet and friendly nature will make you fall in love instantly. Independent and curious, FALKOR enjoys exploring his surroundings, often displaying his goofy and gentle side. He's smart and playful, often turning ordinary objects into toys, which is truly a joy to watch. FALKOR is also mellow and funny, providing endless entertainment. He's a cuddly little furball, loyal to those he trusts. Though he may be a bit shy initially, once he opens up, his energetic personality shines through. FALKOR loves can food and enjoys the company of his cat friends. With a personality like his, FALKOR is sure to bring warmth, laughter, and love to any home. Adopt FALKOR and let his endearing quirks and loving nature brighten up your life. FALKOR is a DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / FLAMEPOINT SIAMESE MIX. He is about 1 year 10 months old. DETECTIVE JOHN BURROWS and his 3 brothers (SERGEANT JEFFREY " JACK " MUMFORD, SERGEANT STEVENS and SERGEANT BECKER) were found by the side of a freeway. Our trapper friend could not find a rescue. They had to live in a kitty tent in someone's backyard. When she told us, we frantically got them here. SERGEANT BECKER is with our rescue now and is ready to be adopted. Meet DETECTIVE JOHN BURROWS, a mysterious and handsome one-year-old Domestic Shorthair and Siamese Flame point mix from Torrance, California. His quiet curiosity is only outshone by his striking cream coat, accented with fiery orange points. This dashing feline might start off a little shy, but once he feels safe, he’s an absolute gem, ready to share his gentle, playful side with those who offer him a caring and loving environment. DETECTIVE JOHN BURROWS, with his unique mix of Siamese elegance and domestic charm, is the ultimate feline sleuth. He’s got the inquisitive eyes of a detective, always observing his surroundings with keen interest. While new situations might make him a little skittish at first, he’s more of a silent observer than a high-strung cat. Give him some time, and you'll discover his love for play, especially with toys that stimulate his curious mind. Laser pointers and feather wands beware—John's got the swift paws of an experienced detective! This lovable guy adores other cats and would thrive in a home with feline companions to team up with. Whether it’s a game of hide-and-seek or a gentle grooming session, he’s always ready to bond with his fellow four-legged friends. While he’s never been around young children and seems cautious around dogs, his non-reactive nature suggests he might adjust well with proper introductions and a calm, patient approach. He’s spent a lot of his young life in a rescue environment but is longing for a true home, and now he’s ready for the next chapter of his journey. DETECTIVE JOHN BURROWS is looking for a pet parent who understands that trust is earned slowly but, once gained, blossoms into a beautiful relationship. Are you the missing piece in his puzzle? Could your home be the one where this detective finally hangs up his hat and enjoys the comforts of a real, loving family? If you’re ready to give this gentle, curious boy the home he needs, fill out the online application. Can you crack the case of where this sweet detective belongs? DETECTIVE JOHN BURROWS is DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / SIAMEASE FLAMEPOINT MIX . He is about 1 year and 5 months old and is good with cats.
