Story
Opal was part of a large litter and was with mom for a long time! Akbash is a short-haired Pyranees type dog, but since she is a mix, she will not be a giant girl. She is such a dream! She was all white, and now is turning very tan with white highlights. She is relaxed and happy and very loving, and likes to nap right by you and snuggle on the couch. She enjoys being outside, is learning house training quickly, and sleeps all night in her crate with comfy blankets and her brother, Oliver. She is quiet and extremely intelligent ("clever" is the word her foster uses), tires herself out adventuring, and learns things quickly. Opal is the social girl who loves to be near you and sleep by your feet while you work. She is such a dream dog!

Story
Don't let the breeds fool you - Oliver is the calm observer of the litter. He is also one of the most amazingly fabulous dogs we have ever had the honor of knowing! He is long and lanky, and likes to watch first and adventure after. He is about 14 weeks old and weighs about 16 pounds. He is intelligent and can do anything he sees done. He is loving and snuggly and loves to chew on sticks and enjoys adventures. He loves his people so very much and learns really quickly. Oliver is really close to house trained and sleeps all night in his crate with his sister, Opal. Oliver is pretty chill, enjoys everyone he meets, and is an outgoing boy. His personality makes us love him even more, as he is so gentle and happy and interested in everything. Oliver is fine with cats and all other dogs, and he even enjoyed visiting Frasier Meadows and the people who live there. This one is going to be the most perfectly amazing family dog!

Story
Sierra is a five-year-old ~110-pound Anatolian shepherd mix who came from a family in Montana that was unable to give her the care and attention she needs. She was kept outside too much, but we have been working with her since February, integrating her into our family, dog walks, belly rubs and brushing, etc. She's a working/herding/guard dog but is also a goofball and a very cuddly teddy bear who loves people and has done well around children. She does have protective/guarding tendencies that seem to have been exacerbated by her situation at her former home, and would do best in a house with a fenced yard and without other dogs or pets (strong crittering instinct). However, she has also made HUGE progress on her dog walks and hasn’t shown any reactivity to other dogs in weeks. Sierra loves being brushed, hanging out with her people, and belly rubs. She is a very sweet girl and would make a great companion for the right person!

Story
Meet Emma and Aria Emma is the more confident one of the litter and is good with kids These babies came from Texas where they were born on a farm and were likely bred to be guardian dogs but the owner surrendered them and they are super shy. They likely grew up outside, then a kennel at a small shelter and havent been in a home till arriving in our care They will need a patience and loving home with another confident and friendy dog in the home to show them the ropes They are crate trained, doing well with house training, and slowly gaining confidence each day Good with other dogs, cats and other farm animals. Because they are young and still developing, this is a crucial time for them to receive proper socialization, care, and placement in homes where they can continue to grow and thrive. All POSO Dogs come with: - Spayed/Netuered - Basic Shots (age appropriate) - Fecal and 4dx testing - other medical concerns addressed before adoption - 2 Free one on one dog training sessions with a professional dog trainer - Training received in foster home - Basic things like some food, treats, leash and collar - PDFs of training material and local coupons and dog sitter recommendations
