Story
Name: Mika (Mee-Kah) Breed/Age/Gender: Border Collie/Akbash Mix - 9 years old/Female Vaccination Status: No vaccines in the past 3 years Spayed Acquired from a friend who went to prison and couldn't keep her any longer. Open to rescue as long as she is in a home and not a shelter or stressful setting. Rehoming her due to lunging at my three year old as he was being rambunctious and screaming/being loud. Mika has had an extremely hard life and is very anxious. She has zero issues with cats. Mika was attached to a single male for a very long time before her world was turned upside down. She is a very good dog who deserves to be the only dog in the home. Location: Westminster, CO

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Why not me? Yes, I am a little bit older but that doesn’t stop me from being a great walking/hiking buddy. I love attention from people. I like kids and bigger dogs as buddies. In fact, I would like another dog, loveable like me in my new home. Have I told you that I am very smart and know several commands plus I’m handsome and have a short coat for easy grooming. I love to be brushed and, of course, I love treats of all kinds. You see I am almost perfect, I just don’t like cats or small dogs much. I want a FURever home so bad, maybe with a retired couple who will have the time to just love me and give me lots of attention. Please come to the rescue to meet me and take me home!!!!   A BIG 6 FOOT FENCED YARD/PROPERTY FOR HIM TO RUN AROUND AND PATROL IS A MUST!!!!!! NO APARTMENTS, CONDOS OR TOWNHOMESVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 26, 2025, 2:39 am

Story
Charlie is a typical Akbash/Pyr mix, who is head strong and protective of his person. He is fully vetted, heartworm negative and microchipped. Charlie does well with the smaller dogs in the current foster home, though seems unsure of large dogs. He very much enjoys "working"...having something to do. Though we do not allow him to be an outdoor dog, he very much enjoys his time in the yard/sun. Charlie loves going for walks, but is often scared of other unknown big dogs. He is great with the cats in the current foster home, and absolutely LOVES men!!! ****Charlie is currently in foster care in DFW, so transport would need to be arranged!**** If interested in Charlie, please fill out our foster or adoption application online: www.salvagedsoulspetrescue.org.

Story
HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED! I AM CAT AND CHICKEN FRIENDLY!!! Hi, my name is Griffin the big white dog. Unlike the other big red dog, I don’t cause any mischief. I’m very laid back, like attention, non destructive, good on walks, and non reactive to other dogs. I am very good with the household senior dog and cat. Although I’m a 4 yr old male Great Pyrenees mix, sitting at about 60 lb’s, I’m not that big of an eater or shedder. I am more of an indoor dog, and I will let you know if I see someone near your house. I am a gentle giant as I never jump and I take treats nicely. I come when I’m called and really just enjoy lounging around without attempting to get on any furniture. I am up to date on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, and ready for your application. Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##2128000##
