Story
Opal was part of a large litter and was with mom for a long time! Akbash is a short-haired Pyranees type dog, but since she is a mix, she will not be a giant girl. She is such a dream! She was all white, and now is turning very tan with white highlights. She is relaxed and happy and very loving, and likes to nap right by you and snuggle on the couch. She enjoys being outside, is learning house training quickly, and sleeps all night in her crate with comfy blankets and her brother, Oliver. She is quiet and extremely intelligent ("clever" is the word her foster uses), tires herself out adventuring, and learns things quickly. Opal is the social girl who loves everything and everyone. She is such a dream dog!

Story
Oliver is the observer of the litter. He is long and lanky, and likes to watch first and adventure after. He is about 10/11 weeks old and weighs about 10 pounds. He is very smart and can do anything he sees done. He is loving and snuggly and loves to chew on sticks and adventures for a bit longer than his sister does. He loves people and learns really quickly. Oliver is really close to house trained and sleeps all night in his crate with his sister, Opal, and really enjoys being with his people. He is calm and enjoys everything, and is going to be an amazing family dog!

Story
Charlie is a typical Akbash/Pyr mix, who is head strong and protective of his person. He is fully vetted, heartworm negative and microchipped. Charlie does well with the smaller dogs in the current foster home, though seems unsure of large dogs. He very much enjoys "working"...having something to do. Though we do not allow him to be an outdoor dog, he very much enjoys his time in the yard/sun. Charlie loves going for walks, but is often scared of other unknown big dogs. He is great with the cats in the current foster home, and absolutely LOVES men!!! ****Charlie is currently in foster care in DFW, so transport would need to be arranged!**** If interested in Charlie, please fill out our foster or adoption application online: www.salvagedsoulspetrescue.org.

Story
Meet Odin – Your Future Gentle Giant!  Looking for a loyal companion with a BIG heart (and soon… a BIG body)? Meet Odin, a 5-month-old Pyrenees pup who is equal parts cuddle bug and playful goofball ✨ Why you’ll love Odin: Loves ear scratches & belly rubs (his absolute favorite!) Playful and fun – obsessed with stuffed toys & tug-of-war Smart and eager to please – already knows sit, down, and comes when called Walks well on a leash ‍♂️ Gets along with other dogs (but plays a little rough!)  A few things to know: Odin is teething and currently in his “chew everything” era (toys = YES, cabinets = also YES… unfortunately) He does best crated when alone (a peanut butter Kong keeps him happy!) Not ideal for homes with small children due to puppy nipping Would thrive with medium to large, confident dog companions A fenced yard is a must—this boy loves lounging outside and staying cool  The perfect home for Odin: An active household ready for a growing giant, committed to training, structure, and lots of love. He’s incredibly smart, food-motivated, and just needs the right guidance to become an amazing lifelong companion. Odin is ready to find his forever family—could it be you?April 2, 2026, 7:22 pm

Story
Hello everyone, and congratulations, you have just met your new bestie!  My name is Marigold; however, my foster family (2 adults, 1 teenager, 1 tween) calls me Proud Mary, and yes, you'd be correct, it's because I'm pretty much Tina Turner inside this cute puppy body. I woo when I get excited, my body dances when I'm happy. I love walking outdoors, to a park, on a trail, or around the neighborhood. I enjoy sunbathing with my foster sister and playing with my dog toys in the backyard. I am what they call a "foodie." I love my food, your food, my treats, my sister's treats. Right now, I am enjoying blueberries, but I cannot resist a frozen carrot. My food journey should start in my forever home.  Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##2646378##

Story
Stella is the absolute sweetest dog. When we first rescued her, she had just gotten over parvo! Our intention was to foster her back to health and we did — and also fell in love like so many do. Being a Great Pyrenees, she is designed to protect land and livestock. We just moved to Denver and have a yard that’s smaller than our old one which really allowed her to thrive. We don’t feel we are giving her the life I know she deserves. We love the heck out of her and she has been such a wonderful addition to our pack. We want her next space to be one where she has land to roam and obviously, a family that will give her lots of love. She LOVES to cuddle and is such a goofball. She gets along well with our pitbull and is reluctant about meeting other dogs when on a leash. She has been to doggy daycare before and seems fine (just protective on a leash) She is great with kids and loves walks. Hope someone out there can give her a life she deserves!
