This approximately 3-year-old Anatolian Shepherd mix is the total package: handsome, well-mannered, and ready to find his forever family. Max is an easygoing guy who gets along with other dogs, does well with cats, and is wonderful with people of all sizes. Kids? Adults? Tiny humans? Tall humans? Max is happy to make friends with them all! Even better, Max is already house-trained! No need to start from scratch with this big guy. He's neutered, fully vaccinated, and ready to trade shelter life for a couch, a yard, and a family to call his own. Hello. My name is Hardy! I'm a calmer puppy at almost 1 year old and 64 pounds. I have been told that I'm a master snuggler and like nothing more than being next to my people. I think I might like my foster a bit too much. What does “velcro dog” mean? I do well with cats, though there isn't one at my current foster's house. I don't have much experience walking on a leash, but I don't pull and enjoy looking at the big, wide world. Each day I’m getting better at walking and not stopping in front of you. I’m told that is annoying! And I really love seeing other dogs. They all look like potential playmates. I am still a puppy, so I'm learning what I can and can not chew in the house and found that shoes and socks are really interesting chew toys. I love playing with my foster sister! I try my best to do what I’m told, like “no jumping” and “out of the kitchen”, but it’s hard to contain my excitement sometimes. Therefore, I might be a bit much for smaller children. I haven't had any accidents in the house and go out and do my business in my foster's fenced yard. I’ve also started peeing on walks. That whole thing is new for me. I'm also working on kennel training. I don't mind going into my kennel and hanging out in there if you are home, but I REALLY don’t want you to leave me in there when you leave the house! I’m worried you might not come back!! I want to trust that you will always come home, but it will take some time. I’m told my forever family is out there and I promise to love you and be your faithful friend for always!--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. My name is Rainer. I am a calm and loving 55 lb pup who loves people, naps and cuddles. My foster parents always tell me how I have a calming presence. I love sitting nicely in front of them to receive pets, and sometimes I snuggle my head right into their chest. I am a very smart 1 year old! I know sit, lay down, and if you have a bell by the door I will ring it when I need to go potty. Speaking of potty breaks, I am house trained. I go directly to the door when I have to go, or if I can't get to the door I will look at my foster parents and quietly whine at them. I like to spend my days napping on the couch, playing with my foster brother, or hanging on outside. When my foster mom works from home, I lay quietly by her feet. I sleep nicely in the crate throughout the night and when my parents are away, maybe that's why my foster parents say I am so easy going? I came to MN in hopes of finding a forever home just like my siblings!
