Lady is a beautiful one-year-old Anatolian Shepherd who has already captured our hearts! She is the definition of a "gentle giant." In the short time she has been with us, she has shown incredible patience and kindness with our young kids. She is a true family dog who thrives on human connection—while also enjoying some play time with her foster sister! True to her breed, Lady has a natural instinct to check on her territory. You’ll often find her happily patrolling the perimeter of the backyard, ensuring everything is in order. She’s quiet and respectful inside the house, only letting out a well-placed bark if she hears someone at the front door to let you know you have company. She has done well when left loose in the house while we’re at work, and at night, she happily curls up on her dog bed in our room. She’s a straightforward girl—she prefers a classic chew bone or a treat-filled Kong over complicated puzzle toys, and she’s happiest just being near you. At one year old, Lady is still a teenager at heart and is still learning which toys are hers in a house full of kid toys. She has also found a favorite Nylabone that she prefers not to share. Like many smart, independent breeds, she occasionally has a mind of her own when it comes to basic commands. She is looking for an adopter who is excited to continue her training and help her polish her manners. When it comes to social settings, Lady prefers a "chill" atmosphere over a "party" vibe. She’d much rather skip the rowdy crowds in favor of some focused belly rubs and quality time with her favorite humans. If you have a yard for her to patrol and a heart big enough for a loyal guardian, Lady might just be the missing piece to your family. This handsome 1-year-old Anatolian Shepherd is ready to find a forever home of his own! He is a loyal, intelligent young dog who loves being part of a pack and is looking for a home with maybe another confident dog to help him continue building his confidence. Like many Anatolian Shepherds, he is observant, independent, and deeply devoted to his people. He enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring his surroundings, and keeping an eye on everything happening around him. While he can be playful and affectionate, he also has a calm and thoughtful side. He thrives with canine companionship and would probably do best in a home with another dog who can show him the ropes and provide friendship. He enjoys playing, relaxing, and sharing his day with his furry companions. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.     Diesel is a 3yr old large, Great Pyrenees and Cane Corso mix. He was saved from an animal control facility, where he was set to be euthanized the next day. He was initially found as a stray, so the rest of his history is unknown. Diesel loves to roll over for tummy scratches, play fetch, and snuggle with you in your chair! He  also enjoys being outside in fenced in yard. He does well in 6ft fenced in yard, with no digging or  trying to escape. He does not liked to be in a crate, but does better in an outdoor type dog kennel. He  has been working on his leash walking manners as he gets excited when he sees other dogs. Diesel has done well meeting people and older children. Small, younger children not recommended due to his large size and playfulness. He has been introduced to a cat, but slow introductions and supervision be advised with any resident cat to ensure they get along. Diesel is dog selective. He has done well with dogs 40+ lbs. He has enjoyed the company of certain dogs with no issues, but then has not gotten along with others. A meet-and-greet is necessary with any current dogs in potential adaptor’s home.
