Grover is an Anatolian Shepherd mix who first came to us as a stray in March 2022. He was terrified and didn`t know anyone or where he was going. He got some much needed TLC from our staff and his confidence has since grown tremendously. He is more outgoing, treat motivated, and LOVES to hang out with staff at the front desk. He thinks he is a lap dog and can easily be found in someone`s lap or in a chair of his own! Grover is looking for a home with no kids and no other pets, as he wants to be your only baby! He is so loving and just needs time to adjust to a new home and environment. He needs a family that will give him time and have patience with him while he is settling into his new home. He is so loyal and will love you forever!

I`m also a pretty quiet guy - no barking at shadows or the wind, but if something really matters, I`ll make sure you know.Think of me like a loveable student that`s eager to learn - sometimes I make mistakes just like humans do, and I need a little patience and grace as I adjust to a new home and new rules. I have a huge heart, and with time and positive reinforcement (and treats!), I know I can be the companion you dream of. If you`re looking for a quiet, affectionate, goofy guy who just wants to be your best friend, I`m ready to meet you!I am older kid friendly (ages 12+) and would love to meet any potential canine siblings before I would join your household.
