(Better pics coming soon) Great Pyrenees + Blue Heeler in SW MO looking for her forever home🐾💓 My boyfriends dogs had puppies this year before he was able to get them fixed, and she is our last baby left! She is our sweetest of the babies, but she was at the bottom of the "pack" and the other dogs pick on her :( She is incredibly submissive, loving and LOVES belly rubs. She loves to go on hikes in the woods and adventure. I am reaching out to a bunch of local shelters, (as I know that most if not all of them are probably full) in hopes that one will have availability/an opening for a young female dog, as well as posting here. Blue heeler / great Pyrenees mix. She is under a year old. She is up to date on shots, and she was fixed on the 15th of January She was an outside dog but has been inside since getting fixed and has been doing great! No potties inside!

Hi, I'm Luna Bear! I'm a 8 year old Great Pyrenese mix. I'm an older lady and have been in the shelter system for almost 3 years...I'm a lady of leisure and independence. I appreciate my own space, and while I may not be the life of the dog park, I offer a mellow companionship that's hard to find. I prefer a quiet home where I can relax and be myself. I'm not one for other dogs or cats, but I promise to fill your life with a unique kind of love. Some pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment scheduled, so the appointment is important to make sure I will be available to meet you when you come. Polk County Humane Society is located in Bolivar, Missouri, but also makes transports to the Denver, CO, Des Moines, IA and St. Louis areas twice monthly. For potential adopters in those areas, we can do a virtual visit using FaceTime or another app. Just request an appointment using the same link, but note that you want the visit to be virtual. We will call you at the time of the visit once it is confirmed. For long distance transports to Colorado and Iowa, there is an additional $100 fee to cover the cost of the transport ($65) and a health certificate from a veterinarian ($35). For transports to St. Louis, the additional fee is $50 to help cover gas. Going that last mile home for our sweet pets! All of our pets are neutered or spayed, have vaccinations appropriate for their age, treated with flea/tick/heartworm prevention, dewormed and dogs are also microchipped. #adoptdontshop ##2225509##

Brego is almost 5 years old and 105lbs. I need to find a new home for him asap. I have had him since he was a puppy. He is calm and mostly just enjoys being a big lazy dog. He has always got along with other calm dogs, but i think any real high energy dogs are not a great fit. He just went to the vet for a checkup and all is good. He is not fixed, but also not a requirement for me to rehome him. Has always been an inside dog so i would think thats best fit, but he may do ok outside perhaps with some other Pyrs. Grover is an Anatolian Shepherd mix who first came to us as a stray in March 2022. He was terrified and didn`t know anyone or where he was going. He got some much needed TLC from our staff and his confidence has since grown tremendously. He is more outgoing, treat motivated, and LOVES to hang out with staff at the front desk. He thinks he is a lap dog and can easily be found in someone`s lap or in a chair of his own! Grover is looking for a home with no kids and no other pets, as he wants to be your only baby!
