Story
Delta had been abandoned in a field. She had clearly just had puppies, but the puppies were nowhere to be found. I built her trust over the course of two weeks of visiting her and feeding her, and I brought her home because I could not bear the thought of her, sitting in a field or being brought to the shelter and living in a cage. She had been through enough. It was also clear she had not previously been treated well. I have a dog at home who is not friendly toward other dogs so although I had hoped to keep Delta because she is very sweet and just wants to be loved, unfortunately I need to rehome her. She has a wonderful temperament. She is learning commands and she is good on a leash. She loves people and would love to be around other dogs. I feel so strongly about her being in the perfect forever home that I will take her back if it does not work out after being adopted. If I did not already have another dog, who is unfriendly, I would absolutely keep her because she is a love.
