Charlie is located in the San Antonio, Texas area.  Out of state applications will be considered on a case by case basis.  2. Adoption Fee: $375.00 (includes vaccinations, neuter, microchip). 3. We only adopt out companion dogs, that will be considered as a part of the family, and will be primarily inside dogs.   4. Preference is for applicants to have some knowledge and experience with the Great Pyrenees breed. Specific information about the breed will be shared during the interview/virtual home visit.  5. Secure and visible tall fencing is required. In a very few cases, other fencing options will be considered, based on the specific needs of a particular dog.  6. Preference is for applicants willing to provide "positive" training to adopted dogs. 7. Texas Adopters preferred (approved adoptions outside of Texas will be considered on a case by case basis and the approve adopter will be responsible for all transport costs). 2. Adoption Fee: $375.00 plus $15.00 processing fee (total of $390.00, which includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test). 3. We only adopt out companion dogs that will be considered as a part of the family and will be primarily inside dogs.   4. He’s incredibly sweet and affectionate once he trusts you, and absolutely loves being loved on. He enjoys going on walks and is a dream on the leash—he stays relaxed and does not react to other dogs, even when they’re barking. At home, Blanco enjoys his routine. He likes to go outside to potty and explore a bit, but he’s happiest lounging in his cozy spots. He loves his beds and any space he considers his own. Because of this, Blanco can be protective of his belongings and personal space, and will let other dogs know when he wants his boundaries respected. He does well with select dogs when introductions and space are managed thoughtfully. Blanco is sensitive to loud weather—he’s afraid of storms and rain and will seek out a safe, quiet place where he feels secure (his favorite is a cozy closet with a bed). He prefers gentle handling and isn’t a fan of having his ears or feet touched, so he’ll need a patient owner who respects his comfort level. While he may take a little time to fully trust, once he does, he’s a loyal, loving companion who just wants to be close to his person. Adoption Criteria (adult 1-8 years) 1.
