Meet Zara — a sweet, playful Pyrenees mix with a gentle and submissive personality. This girl is the perfect combination of fun-loving adventure buddy and cuddly companion. Zara has a moderate energy level with adorable bursts of excitement, especially when it comes to her favorite activities: fetch, tug-of-war, chasing balls, carrying sticks, and playing outside. If you throw a toy for her once, be prepared because she’ll happily bring it back 100 more times!Zara is both potty trained and kennel trained, making her an easy addition to a home. She gets along well with other dogs and has shown no issues with guarding toys or food. She comfortably eats in her crate and has done great sharing space and toys with other pups. She’s also non-reactive on leash, not fearful, and has shown no aggression at all.She previously lived with children ages 5 and 7 and did wonderfully with them. Because she’s still a little mouthy when playing with toys, she may be best suited for a home with slightly older kiddos who can help continue her good manners.While Zara enjoys being close to her people and may follow you from room to room, she does not show signs of separation anxiety. She’s simply a loyal girl who loves companionship as much as she loves playtime.If you’re looking for a happy, affectionate dog who’s always ready for a game of fetch and then a cuddle on the couch, Zara may be your perfect match.Zara is currently in a loving foster home in the Houston, Texas area. Introducing Peaches   Miss Peaches is as sweet as they come. She came to us after being placed on the euthanasia list at a Houston shelter, and we are so grateful she got her second chance at life   Peaches is an Anatolian Shepherd mix, around 3 years old (maybe a little younger!), and the proud mama of Biscuit—who is also in our care. Peaches is a bit more confident than Biscuit and is VERY food motivated (treats = instant best friend ).   She’s incredibly loving, adores being pet, and just wants to feel safe and cared for. Peaches will thrive in a home with another dog to help guide her and no cats, as she does have a strong prey drive. Meet Biscuit   This handsome boy is about a year old and an Anatolian Shepherd mix—Biscuit is the son of Peaches and is slowly but surely learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. Every day he’s gaining a little more confidence, and it’s truly the sweetest thing to watch.   Biscuit may be a little shy at first, but once he feels safe, his gentle and loving personality shines through. He also LOVES food and is extremely food motivated, which makes building trust with him even sweeter   He’ll do best in a home with another confident dog to help guide him, and no cats, as he does have a strong prey drive.   Biscuit will need someone patient who is okay giving him time to decompress and is willing to work with him as he continues to make progress in his everyday life.   This special boy is still looking for a foster or his forever home—somewhere he can feel safe, loved, and continue to blossom May 24, 2026, 2:34 pm
