Story
What his foster mom has to say about him:Name- MaloneBreed - Great Pyrenees Approximate age - 7 months Approximate size - 45 pounds Good with dogs? - excellentCats? - unknown Kids? - excellent How are they doing with potty training? - excellent. only had two accidents the first week. How are they doing in their crate? - sleeps through the night but makes a fuss when put in crate during the day. Energy level? - 2- couch potato Any issues with guarding? - will low growl with a treat with other dogs around him but I’ve taken treats away with no issues Leash reactivity? - no Fearful?- no Aggression?- no Separation anxiety?- noAnything else you’d like to add? Malone is a dream. He’s super sweet and loves men and women equally. He’s most content laying at your feet chilling with you but will follow wherever you go, he’s your shadow but not in a stalking way…if you shut the bathroom door he jays outside if it and patently waits for you. Malone has been amazing with 6 foster dog siblings, each with their own personality he has had to adjust to. He sits right below the middle on a chart of submissive to alpha personality. He’s submissive to every dog here but not to the point of rolling over. He is a goofy boy who wants to play! His energy level is only a 2, he tires quickly and much prefers laying around. Malone has met farm animals with no aggression but has not yet met a cat. I feel like he would be ok with any animal he meets. Malone loves to pick up a bunch of toys, food bowls, shoes etc and lay with them in the evenings. He is a bit of a hoarder. He hasn’t chewed any shoes but possibly because I’ve taken them from him as soon as he gathers them. I’m not aware of any destructive chewing but I wouldn’t leave my favorite shoes with him unattended. ?? Malone has only had two accidents but has quickly gotten accustomed to a routine of outside every hour for potty breaks. He has never had an accident in his crate. Malone is fed last and had to learn patience while the family pets are being fed. This was difficult at first as he was so hungry and accustomed to scavenging for food. Now he patently hangs out waiting for his turn and as soon as he sees the last food bowl brought out for him he runs to his kennel and sits and waits patiently. ?? He does bark quite insistently when he wants to be with family during the day. This actually developed with being on crate rest for
