Story
Meet Fish — Your Sweet Akbash Puppy Prince! If you’re looking for the cutest big little derp with the kindest soul… say hello to Fish! Fish is an 8-month-old Akbash puppy who is equal parts goofy, gentle, and lovable. He’s the type of pup who will make you laugh daily with his silly personality, then melt your heart when he leans in for love. &#226&#156&#168 Fish’s Favorite Things: Being everyone’s best friend Other dogs — YES! Cats — YES! Kids — YES! Learning the good house manners life Fish is fully vetted and doing AMAZING with home life — he’s pretty darn good with the doggie door and has been doing great with minimal accidents as he continues learning his routine. Because Fish is an Akbash (a livestock guardian breed), we are looking for a home that understands what that means. Guardian breeds are intelligent, independent, loyal, and naturally protective — and they thrive with structure, consistency, and humans who appreciate their unique instincts. &#239&#184&#143 Fish’s ideal home: &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Breed experience (or willingness to learn!) &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 A home that enjoys the outdoors &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Space to stretch his legs and be his best big puppy self &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 A family who understands he’ll grow into a confident guardian-type dog Important note: Fish is a guardian breed, so we strongly encourage adopters to read up on Akbash/LGD traits to make sure it’s the right fit — and if it is… you’ll have an absolutely incredible companion for life. Fish is ready for his forever home… could it be yours? Story
This sweet girl is 2 years old and will be 3 in May. She has her rabies shot and was recently spayed. She is a loving, gentle dog who just needs a little time to get comfortable in new situations. She loves swimming, enjoys tug-of-war, and prefers playing with other dogs over fetch. She’s affectionate and enjoys cuddling She can be vocal or timid when meeting new people and will bark at strangers at first, but once she is familiar with you, she relaxes and shows her sweet personality. She is house trained. Not crate trained but sleeps on her bed or the floor at night. She does well in the car and will either look out the window or nap on longer rides. She is good with other dogs and knows sit, lay down, and comes when called. Her name is Mia, but she also responds to Bear, which can be helpful if there is another dog with a similar name. She will come with a small bag of food, her dog bed, and her harness, leash and toys
