Story
Emma is a beautiful 3.5-year-old Great Pyrenees with all the qualities that make this breed so beloved—loyal, gentle, intelligent, and devoted to her people. While she can be a little shy when meeting someone new, Emma warms up quickly and is happy to accept pets and affection once she feels comfortable. Beneath her reserved exterior is a sweet, sensitive girl who is looking for a family she can call her own. Emma enjoys spending time with her people but also has an independent streak, as many Great Pyrenees do. She is content to relax nearby, keeping an eye on her surroundings, and appreciates having space to do her own thing. She is house trained and has excellent manners in the home, making her an easy companion to live with. One of Emma's favorite things is meeting other dogs. She loves canine friends and enjoys playing, so she may thrive with a well-matched dog companion. Although she has never lived with other animals, she has shown positive social skills with dogs. Her experience with cats is unknown.Emma would do best in a home that understands her sensitive nature and can help build her confidence in new situations. She can become anxious during car rides and may feel nervous when entering unfamiliar buildings. With patience, consistency, and gentle encouragement, she continues to gain confidence and trust. Because she has a history of digging and attempting to escape, a secure fenced yard and attentive supervision outdoors will be important for her safety. Emma is the perfect blend of gentle affection and quiet independence. She would love a family that appreciates the unique personality of a Great Pyrenees and is willing to give her the time she needs to settle in and feel secure. In return, you'll gain a loyal companion who will be devoted to her family and always happy to be by your side. ❤️Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200. If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at http://caws.org/adoption-application If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-applicationJuly 13, 2026, 8:30 am

Story
Meet Jake from State Farm! Great Pyrenees × Great Dane Mix | 1 Year Old | Fully Vetted Looking for a dog who will make you laugh every single day, shower you with unconditional love, and happily join you on every adventure? Then it's time to meet Jake from State Farm! This handsome, leggy goofball is a Great Pyrenees/Great Dane mix, which means he comes with all the best qualities of both breeds—a heart as big as his paws, a gentle soul, and just enough goofy charm to keep life entertaining. Jake is what we lovingly call a gentle giant derp. He has absolutely no idea how big he is and believes every lap is the perfect place for a cuddle. Whether he's zooming around the yard with his canine friends, flopping over for belly rubs, or making you laugh with his goofy expressions, Jake lives life with pure joy. At just one year old, he's still young enough to be playful and adventurous but old enough to have outgrown the tiny puppy stage. He's eager to please, loves being with his people, and is always ready for his next adventure. The best part? Jake has never met a stranger. ❤️ Loves people of all ages—from little kids to grandparents. Fantastic with dogs of all sizes. Gentle, affectionate, and wonderfully social. Playful, goofy, and always ready for fun. Fully vetted and ready for his forever family. Jake is the kind of dog who makes every house feel like a home. He's the friend who greets you with a wagging tail after a long day, the hiking buddy who's always up for an adventure, and the oversized cuddle bug who thinks he's still puppy-sized. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a giant heart, an even bigger personality, and enough loveVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 13, 2026, 12:35 pm

Story
Meet Zippy Male DOB: April 7, 2026 Current Weight: 25 lbs Expected Adult Weight: 70–90 lbs (estimate) Breed: Dogo Argentino / Great Pyrenees Mix Neutered (Fixed): Pending (age-appropriate) Vaccines: Current for Age (Puppy Vaccine Series Ongoing) Microchipped Healthy & Adoption-Ready Personality, Breed Info & Expectations Zippy is a happy, outgoing puppy with a playful spirit and a contagious enthusiasm for life. True to his name, he loves staying active, exploring new places, and turning every day into an adventure. Whether he's playing with toys, romping around the yard, or investigating something new, Zippy approaches life with confidence and excitement. He is highly social and enjoys being around people. Zippy thrives on interaction and loves being included in family activities. His cheerful personality and affectionate nature make him a wonderful companion for adopters looking for a fun-loving dog who is eager to be part of the action. As a Dogo Argentino / Great Pyrenees Mix, Zippy may inherit the intelligence, loyalty, and confidence of both breeds. This mix often produces dogs that are devoted to their families, eager to learn, and highly people-oriented. While he is currently a playful puppy, he is expected to mature into a large dog that will benefit from continued training, socialization, and structure. Because Zippy is still growing, adopters should expect a large adult dog and be prepared for the responsibilities that come with his future size and exercise needs. Zippy would thrive in a home prepared for: Ongoing puppy training and supervision Daily exercise, playtime, and enrichment Positive socialization experiences Structure, consistency, and routine A lifelong commitment to his emotional and physical well-being The responsibilities of owning a large-breed dog Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Many rescue puppies come from uncertain beginnings and may not have had structure, socialization, or formal training before arriving at rescue. Puppies require time, patience, and consistency as they learn how to navigate life in a home environment. Adopters should expect normal puppy behaviors such as chewing, teething, accidents, learning household routines, and testing boundaries. These behaviors are a normal and healthy part of puppy development. Zippy will benefit from: Positive reinforcement training Daily structure and routine Continued socialization and exposure Patience, consistency, and supervision Gentle guidance throughout his development Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn routine 3 months to feel fully at home With patience, training, and love, Zippy will grow into a confident, loyal, and well-mannered companion. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Owning a puppy is a lifelong commitment that includes training, exercise, veterinary care, and emotional responsibility. Zippy will need: Routine veterinary care and completion of his puppy vaccine series Preventative care including flea, tick, and parasite prevention Proper nutrition to support healthy growth Daily exercise and mental enrichment Ongoing training and socialization A safe, stable indoor living environment Because Zippy is expected to mature into a large dog, adopters should be prepared to provide appropriate exercise, training, veterinary care, and lifelong support throughout his life. Zippy is an indoor family dog and is not to be chained or left outside.
