Story
Luna is a 7.5 year old Akbash and the best dog you could own. She is pretty obedient, knows all basic commands and is even off leash trained. She is your buddy for life. I owned a horse and took her on trail rides with me and spent hours at the barn with her. She loves all animals and is gentle as can be. We have had her since 9 months old. She has lived in our town house and now house for the whole time. She loves being outside & loves the sunshine and loves the snow. She is great with kids, but struggles to understand that littles need her to be more aware of them. Owning Luna only has 2 downsides: 1) She has no idea how big she is and 2) she sheds like nothing I have ever seen. The lack of size awareness only really affects you when she gets excited, she might run past someone and accidentally knock them over (older adults and small children) never on purpose though. We no longer feel we can provide the best possible home for her and are looking for someone who can love her.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.When gorgeous Noel was pulled from the shelter she was thought to be a senior girl! But after a few days in her foster home it was quickly discovered what was thought to be older age was more than likely fear. In her foster home she quickly became ill, was rushed to the ER vet where she spent several days. Noel has spent weeks now recovering and is ready to find her forever family.  Noel is wonderful with other dogs, she sleeps by them and even eats right by them!  She is working on her leash manners and only chewing on approved items! ;) Noel is good with cats and loves people! Riley is a bit timid at first with people but she loves other dogs. She's getting used to family life and affection. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Zack is a big sweet goof of a boy and bonded to our girl Lucy. They are an old married couple and they must be adopted together. We will be extremely selective about where these 2 go, with all that they've been through.  After their owner suddenly passed away they were faced with euthanasia. We had just a couple of days to find a place to get them safe, and thank goodness a wonderful foster stepped up! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Kaiju came to us as an urgent boy needing to be pulled from a Utah shelter. He was so stressed there he'd stopped eating. He went to a foster home where they hoped he would be the right fit to add to their family and he spent several months getting healthy.  Kaiju has had entropion surgery and recovered from 2 UTI's, also been neutered. His foster family feel with Kaiju's need for very slow intro's to new people and the traffic of people in their home, they're not the right fit for him.  He is a very smart boy, very typical Akbash. Strong and protective of his family, and so goofy and loving too!  Kaiju does great with the female Akbash in the home but does need to be fed alone. He also chases cats! He is a chill 5 year old most of the time and would love to find his forever home.
