I first met Roku in Dallas, Texas. He is a pure breed of Japanese Akita Inu. He was only three-month-old and just a little tiny pup. His birthday is Aug. 22, 2022. He is shy and sensitive but always super sweet and kind to me. Now he is about nine months old, and he never barked at me even once, never ran away once when I recall him. But when he is with me, when he's growing up now, I finally realize that maybe i am not the best owner for him, he deserves a better home and a happy doggy life with someone who can really spend a lot of time with him. There are some changes happening in my life and I will travel more frequently in the near future. It's really hard to make the decision but I hope the best for him and that he can be truly happy. The adoption fee there is setting a bar for selecting people who is financially stable and is serious about giving him a new home. But it's always negotiable, just reach out to me if you are an experienced dog owner. Thanks.

Sweet senior desires forever home!All dogs are located in foster homes southeast Arizona between Benson and Willcox just south of Interstate 10. It is approximately a 2 1/2 drive from the Phoenix area and about a 1-hour drive east of Tucson. Please call or email Carrie to set up meet and greets as well as any questions.  fedwellfarm@yahoo.com, 602-316-8919 (no texts please)   BREAKING NEWS!!  Since I do not know anything about Akita's, I did not know that she is most likely a purebred Akita and she gets along with other dogs!  YEA   APARTMENT DOG PROSPECT!!!!   Pepper should easily be an apartment dog.  She is happy to watch Animal Planet while her family is away at school or work.  She is NOT high energy.   Pepper was picked up as a stray by animal control.   This beautiful 9-year-old Akita did not belong in a shelter.  When Fedwell Farm heard about this sweet girl, we were happy to bring her into to her foster home.   Pepper has been an absolute angel.  She has nice house manners; she is dog door trained.   Pepper gets along with other dogs; she basically ignores them. It appears that Pepper had been groomed in her previous life as she was not scared during her beauty treatment. She walked in willingly to the groomers tub Pepper weighs approximately 70 pounds.
