Story
Meet Kaia - a tiny little lap dog .... well, that's what she thinks she is! This big gal is friendly as friendly can be! She is happy to see everyone and her tail never stops wagging. She might overwhelm your lap, so she is happy to lean on you. Don't be surprised if she gives you some kisses too. She loves attention, knows some commands like "sit" and is already potty trained. She is a great dog who is ready to find her forever home. She is an overall great dog who is a joy to be around. Visit http://animalsbenefitclub.com/adopt/ to learn about our Adoption Process and to download an adoption questionnaire. All interested adopters must complete an adoption questionnaire. If you are considered a match for the pet you are interested in, you will be contacted. A home visit is REQUIRED. Voicemail messages are retrieved periodically, but please note, we DO NOT RETURN CALLS regarding the status of adoption questionnaires. Our administrative staff is volunteer based, thank you for your patience and understanding. Included with adoptions – spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip, food sample, collar, and post adoption support.

Names Apolo he’s 10 months old. He will be 1 year old march 20th. He needs to be the only pet no other cats or dogs, he does not get along well with other male dogs. He’s very loving and loves to cuddle and likes a big yard to run around and play ball. Also is potty trained and loves to go on walks. I just want him to have a good home he’s a great dog.

Story
Tiff is a beautiful 4 year old, 60 pound Husky blend who joined us recently from the Humane Society of Yuma. This intelligent and confident lady knows basic commands, such as sit and down. She has good leash manners, and she is very treat motivated and eager to please. She is very gentle when accepting a reward. Tiff loves to lay in the sun, roll in the grass and loves belly rubs! Tiff was adopted recently but returned because she wanted to chase the kitties so she'll need a feline-free home. No appointments are necessary and you can come and see us any time we are open. Please go to our website (www.azfriends.org) to fill out a consultation form then come and see us! We do require any family interested in meeting our dogs or cats to fill out a consultation form – this form helps us determine if the dog/cat and the home are a good match, since it is so easy to fall in love with a photo, without knowing the personality of the dog. Once you have filled out the online Adoption Consultation Form, just come in and see us (or come and see us and fill out the consultation form upon arrival)! Please note that ALL dogs and cats are available to the first home that meets the dog or cat that we feel is a good match. In order to help make the best match, we do want all family members (dogs and humans) to meet any potential new family member. Our adoption center hours are: Closed Sunday/Monday; Tuesday 10a-2p, Wednesday 3p-7p, Thursday 3p-7p, Friday 10a-2p, Saturday 10a-4p. We are located at 952 W Melody Avenue in Gilbert (zip code 85233).All animals are altered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, licensed (dogs). Cats tested for FELV/FIV. Dogs tested for Heartworm. All animals are available to the first family that is a good match, and if we have more than one animal who is a good match, there will be a lottery for all matches. Note that families must have come in to our adoption center and spoken with an adoption counselor prior to any lottery (when we have lotteries, they usually occur on Saturday mornings).

Story
Aspyn is a Husky-German Sheppard mix and is 2 years old. We bought her from a family when she was 9 weeks old. She has a great temperament, calm and eager for attention. She knows most basic obedience like sit, shake, stay, lay down, spin, and leave it. However, she cannot be off leash yet. She is not yet spayed as we were considering having puppies. We can spay her if needed. We are looking for a better fit home. It would be optimal for her to be in a cooler environment due to her breed. Thanks for considering.
