Gene is a purebred American Akita we purchased about a year ago. She’s just over one year old and due to new work schedules we don’t have the time to tend to her needs. She hasn’t been around other dogs very often, but she has never bit any people. She doesn’t bark much and is potty trained. We are hoping to find a new great home for her.

Bear is as loving and loyal as they come—his tail is always wagging, and he thrives on being around his people. Bear is great on a leash, making him the perfect hiking or walking buddy. He loves car rides, especially feeling the wind in his face, and enjoys splashing in the water on warm days. Well-mannered in public, Bear adores pets and quality time with his family. While he’s non-reactive to other dogs on walks and hikes, he’ll need a proper introduction to any potential fur siblings, which the rescue will facilitate. Bear would do best in a home without kids or cats. This happy, soft, and affectionate boy is up to date on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped.
