Dakota is a handsome name, kind of a "rugged" kind of name, right?? I am kind of a REFINED RUGGED kind of boy! NOT!! I am a snuggle bug looking for tummy scratches....I willl MELT for one!! Here is what one of our amazing fosters have to say about Dakota...."Super freaking sweet, loves loves belly rubs, is very strong when you walk him but listens well. VERY treat motivated and knows sit down paw and i just taught him roll over yesterday but its a work in progress 😝. Super playful, he will pounce around you and then roll over for belly rubs and absolutely melts for the belly rubs and kisses" I love playing and running with my doggy friends, however, I can lay at your feet very sweetly to beg for your attention. I am kind of like a "reverse" planter as well. I mean, you plant it and i will un-plant it for you :D I won't do it often, just when I want your attention and I am outside alone. So see?? you have great control over that urge! So I am a food and toy lover too, I eat out of a slow feeder bowl because wolfing down my food is not an option! I am learning all things toys and am actually learning how to bring the ball BACK after you throw it. I am a smart and very sweet boy. I do absolutely have a prey drive so no kitties for small furry mammals around me please. I am fully potty trained and great in a crate. Now i just need you to adopt me to complete my circle of life. Now, before you go all "Lion King" on me, just know that I will be your bestest buddy forever!! I am two VERY loyal breeds and once I know you are my family, you will have my unending love :) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

One of our wonderful fosters has agreed to take both of them in until we can find their new forever homes. In addition, a kind supporter has sponsored part of her adoption fee to help her get settled soon. At 8yrs old, Keyoko is still playful and loves to cuddle with her people. This dog is being fostered in TN but included in your adoption fee is transport to a location near you by Rescue Riders Pet Transport, the most animal-friendly transport on the road.

If you like them BIG and floppy, Simba fits that detail. This dude was a loved family member but they had to relocate and left him with another friend. Unfortunately, they could not see him any longer due to no fault of his own and he needed a complete restart. This is a 3 year old baby who has never met a stranger. He is good with all humans and loves all the humans of all sizes. Due to his massive size, he would do best with kids over ten and is fine with cats. Terra is a very sweet, cute Husky Mix, possibly Husky-Shepherd. Her estimated date of birth is July 4, 2021; at the time of this post, she is about 1 ½ years old. She weighs about 50 lbs. Terra is typical Husky through-and-through. She is active, somewhat high-strung, and loves being outside. When she is by herself, she is overall well-behaved…given she’s a younger Husky. She can get carried away and become obnoxious when engaging with other dogs. As such, she is most likely to do best being an only dog. She is not a dog-park dog. While playful and energetic, Terra is also very affectionate. She enjoys people and does pretty well when meeting people she does not know. As is the case with all young, larger dogs, Terra would greatly benefit from obedience training which can also be a bonding experience with her new family. No doubt, Terra has the potential to evolve into the perfect pup, but is looking for that family willing to commit to her and provide her the forever home she deserves. Terra is fully vetted, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed & microchipped and on year-round heartworm prevention. Luna is an adorable , amazing-looking puppy, thought to be a Shepherd-Husky Mix….she has those Husky blue eyes!!. She and her littermates were born mid-June. While we cannot anticipate Luna’s weight when fully grown, at 5 months, her weight is 32 lbs.. Luna is a sweet, easy-going, but very confident girl. She is good with other dogs and plays nicely with all of her housemates…but does have her moments. She enjoys playing outside; a secure, fenced yard would be on Luna’s “wish list.” Like most puppies, she also enjoys chewing things, including pebbles; so, her new family would need to be aware of this quirk of hers. An ideal home for this gorgeous pup is one with large-dog experience, and preferably a mellow canine playmate for Luna. (However she would likely be fine as an only dog as well.) It is important that Luna’s new family have the time, patience, and commitment to integrate a new puppy into the family and ensure Luna receives obedience training, so she can evolve into a perfect, well-behaved family member. Obedience training is also an invaluable bonding experience for puppy and new pet parent! Luna has received all vaccinations, is on year-round heartworm prevention and is microchipped for permanent identification. In addition her adoption fee includes her spay.
