At 5.5 years old, he recently road-tripped all the way from Mexico with a partner shelter, along with several other dogs who are also adoptable and now in our care. Vladimir is currently thriving in our co-housing program, doing well with other dogs, and is ready to meet a forever family. Cats can be tested upon request. Dakota is a handsome name, kind of a "rugged" kind of name, right?? I am kind of a REFINED RUGGED kind of boy! For instance, I am a busy boy, I love playing and running with my doggy friends, however, I can lay at your feet very sweetly to beg for your attention. I am kind of like a "reverse" planter as well. I mean, you plant it and i will un-plant it for you :D I won't do it often, just when I want your attention and I am outside alone. So see?? you have great control over that urge! So I am a food and toy lover too, I eat out of a slow feeder bowl because wolfing down my food is not an option! I am learning all things toys and am actually learning how to bring the ball BACK after you throw it. I am a smart and very sweet boy. I do absolutely have a prey drive so no kitties for small furry mammals around me please. I am fully potty trained and great in a crate. Now i just need you to adopt me to complete my circle of life. Now, before you go all "Lion King" on me, just know that I will be your bestest buddy forever!! I am two VERY loyal breeds and once I know you are my family, you will have my unending love :) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

She was housebroken but needs a refresher course. Keyoko is 8 years old female and is very loving. Hello! This is Appa he is a sweet 4.5 year old American Akita. His birthday is May 11, 2021. I originally got him from a breeder in Dallas,TX when he was 8 weeks old. He is such a loving dog and is the friendliest Akita ever when it comes to meeting new people. I no longer have a cat, but he grew up around a one and never had any issues with him. He is a pretty independent dog which is normal for the breed, but he is a super sweet boy that loves getting pets. He gets along well with most female dogs. I would highly advise against having him live with another male dog due to the natural same sex aggression that is seen in this breed. He is well behaved and knows all of his obedience commands, although in typical Akita fashion he may pick and choose how quickly he listens. He's honestly an amazing dog, but due to life changes and circumstances it would be best for him to be rehomed. He is up to date on all of his shots, and currently takes simparico trio.

Alyda is a gentle, affectionate girl with the sweetest, calm demeanor. She may be a little shy at first, but within a couple of days she opens up into a loving companion who truly enjoys being around her people. She hasn’t barked once in her foster home and is wonderfully well behaved, making her a peaceful presence in the house.She is fully house trained and reliably goes to the door when she needs to go outside. Alyda does well in her crate, settling after a few minutes, and often chooses to nap there with the door left open after her walks. She walks beautifully on leash—right by your side without pulling—and enjoys two relaxed 20–30 minute walks each day.With her thick, fluffy coat, Alyda especially loves being outdoors and is happiest when there’s snow to lounge in. She isn’t bothered by squirrels, isn’t afraid of water, and bath time is easy. She’s friendly with people, gentle with children ages 4–10, and shows polite, cautious interest in dogs her own size.Overall, Alyda is a mild-mannered, disciplined, and affectionate dog who would thrive in a calm, loving home that appreciates her quiet sweetness and love of the outdoors. Terra is a very sweet, cute Husky Mix, possibly Husky-Shepherd. Her estimated date of birth is July 4, 2021; at the time of this post, she is about 1 ½ years old. She weighs about 50 lbs. Terra is typical Husky through-and-through. She is active, somewhat high-strung, and loves being outside. When she is by herself, she is overall well-behaved…given she’s a younger Husky. She can get carried away and become obnoxious when engaging with other dogs. As such, she is most likely to do best being an only dog. She is not a dog-park dog. While playful and energetic, Terra is also very affectionate. She enjoys people and does pretty well when meeting people she does not know. As is the case with all young, larger dogs, Terra would greatly benefit from obedience training which can also be a bonding experience with her new family. No doubt, Terra has the potential to evolve into the perfect pup, but is looking for that family willing to commit to her and provide her the forever home she deserves. Terra is fully vetted, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed & microchipped and on year-round heartworm prevention.
