Story
Keyoko is the sweetest girl you will ever meet. She had been living a good life until her owner died and she - and her buddy Zeus - suddenly found themselves at the shelter with nowhere to go. One of our wonderful fosters has agreed to take both of them in until we can find their new forever homes. In addition, a kind supporter has sponsored part of her adoption fee to help her get settled soon. At 8yrs old, Keyoko is still playful and loves to cuddle with her people. She is looking for a safe and loving home. If you think that could be yours, click on the big black button marked "Ask About Me" and we will send you an application. This dog is being fostered in TN but included in your adoption fee is transport to a location near you by Rescue Riders Pet Transport, the most animal-friendly transport on the road.

Story
Mongo is a handsome 3-year-old neutered male Akita with a calm, steady presence and a surprisingly sweet side. In his previous home, Mongo lived harmoniously with another large male dog, showing he can share his space well when properly introduced. He's the type of dog who forms deep bonds with his people. With those he loves and trusts, he transforms into a total 'big baby' - affectionate, playful, and eager for attention. With everyone else, he carries himself with classic Akita dignity: stoic, observant, and polite, but not unfriendly. He's more of a quiet watcher than a bouncy greeter, which is typical for the breed. Mongo is confident and self-assured without being aggressive. He enjoys calm companionship and does best in a home that understands and respects the independent, loyal nature of Akitas. He would thrive with an experienced owner who can provide clear leadership, consistent routines, and plenty of mental stimulation.

Story
Dakota is a handsome name, kind of a "rugged" kind of name, right?? I am kind of a REFINED RUGGED kind of boy! NOT!! I am a snuggle bug looking for tummy scratches....I willl MELT for one!! Here is what one of our amazing fosters have to say about Dakota...."Super freaking sweet, loves loves belly rubs, is very strong when you walk him but listens well. VERY treat motivated and knows sit down paw and i just taught him roll over yesterday but its a work in progress 😝. Super playful, he will pounce around you and then roll over for belly rubs and absolutely melts for the belly rubs and kisses" I love playing and running with my doggy friends, however, I can lay at your feet very sweetly to beg for your attention. I am kind of like a "reverse" planter as well. I mean, you plant it and i will un-plant it for you :D I won't do it often, just when I want your attention and I am outside alone. So see?? you have great control over that urge! So I am a food and toy lover too, I eat out of a slow feeder bowl because wolfing down my food is not an option! I am learning all things toys and am actually learning how to bring the ball BACK after you throw it. I am a smart and very sweet boy. I do absolutely have a prey drive so no kitties for small furry mammals around me please. I am fully potty trained and great in a crate. Now i just need you to adopt me to complete my circle of life. Now, before you go all "Lion King" on me, just know that I will be your bestest buddy forever!! I am two VERY loyal breeds and once I know you are my family, you will have my unending love :) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)
