Now, Peter Pan is on a quest to find a loving family that will be with him furever. If you're ready to open your heart and home to this charming pup, Peter Pan is waiting with a wagging tail to bring joy and happiness into your life. Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to JFK💟 Meet Dooly🦕 (It's famous Korean dinosaur character name) * With People: Dooly is curious about people but shy and hesitant to approach. He gets scared by sudden movements, so patience and slow, gentle interactions are essential to building trust. * With Dogs: He coexists well with other dogs at the shelter, though he prefers to relax rather than actively play. * With Cats: Dooly has not yet been exposed to cats, so his behavior around them is unknown. * Separation Anxiety: It’s currently unclear if Dooly experiences separation anxiety as he resides in the shelter. Initial training may be needed if he transitions to a home environment. * Potty Training: Dooly is accustomed to outdoor pottying only. * Walking: He has had some leash training during his time at a dog school but will need a trusted handler and double leashing for gradual and safe walks. 💌Special Notes💌 * Dooly takes time to get comfortable with people and requires a patient, understanding environment to help him adapt.

Now settled, they are thriving on treats, leisurely walks, and human companionship. With their affectionate nature, they're suitable for families with older children and would flourish in a home with a secure backyard where they can play freely. Story
Ariaa turned a year in November. She is lovable and energetic and playful but needs someone to be attentive to her preferably who works from home. She also needs outdoor space as we have a backyard for her to roam and play. She hasn’t been trained much other than paw and high five, and requires training and a lot of love. She loves to sleep near or under my bed and enjoys laying on the couch.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. THEO was saved from a high kill shelter in Texas and  arrived at Give a Dog a Home Rescue in Sebec, Maine on Friday, 14th February. We post our available dogs in states across the east coast and Canada to reach as many people as possible in hopes to find perfect homes and families. We do not transport dogs, families must come to the rescue to meet and then hopefully take home. THEO is neutered, rabies, core vaccines, heartworm and tick tested negative, is on monthly flea/tick prevention and was given the 12 month pro-heart heartworm prevention injection in February 2025. He is microchipped and on 12 February weighed 50.20 pounds. He has an estimated date of birth of December 2022.  We do not know what the breed is, we expect families to decide looking at any pictures and video's provide and decide if the breed is a good fit for their family. Theo does have "Partial Heterochromia, also referred to as Sectoral Heterochromia" which is when part of the iris is a different colour than the rest of the eye. In Theo's case, it is the ice blue, which is common in the husky breeds and adds a beautiful uniqueness to his already stunning face. The shelter volunteer (21 January) stated friendly but a bit nervous as well, approached me, sniffed my hands and allowed me to pet him, offered him a treat but was not interested in them, semi walks on leash, would try pulling back licking his lips.  (25 January) he came out to the yard and was freezing to greets and was very unsure not understanding what was going on because he would just try to stay on his own wanting to get away from the other dogs.   (Rescue comments - it is important to take into account when reading these comments that these dogs are in a strange environment with a lot of dogs, and they are learning about each other in a very small space of time, it is high stimulation environment, also often the first time they have had exercise with other dogs.  Comments are from volunteers, not trainers or behavio rists). We are looking for families that have the lifestyle that the dog needs to lead a healthy, both mentally and physically life, who can afford a GOOD quality food, toys and treats and understand the importance of veterinary wellness checks. THEO is available for adoption for an adoption fee of $550, as noted he is located at the rescue in Sebec, Maine and families are required to complete and submit an  adoption application and when approved schedule an appointment to come to the rescue to meet and hopefully take home this sweet boy. Applications are processed with 24 hours of them being received. Link to the Adoption Application To look at lots more photo's be sure to check out our    Facebook Page ALBUMS    where we are able to upload hundreds of photos of our dogs waiting for their forever homes and families.
