Story
Hi my name is Booker, I am 5 years old. I am an Akita and if you’re familiar with the breed then you may already know that I can be a handful. My owner didn’t crate train me during Covid and as a puppy I got used to him being home all the time, so when things went back to normal-ish and he left me alone I noticed that I developed some separation anxiety and would become destructive. It’s not my fault, I just don’t like being in tight spaces (crates) or left alone. I need an experienced owner to work with me, who has the time to give me. I love the snow and cold weather, I love taking walks and being able to run around in open fields or yards. I have 1 feline brother and 1 feline sister and had 1 canine sister up until recently. I love them but I get so excited around them and want to play so I tend to forget how big I am and pounce sometimes. Mom has to monitor frequently our interactions and act as the mediator.

Noelle was surrendered due to her house being flooded and her family being forced to relocate.After the flooding , she was caged a great portion of her days due to everything in her families life being turned upside down .She previously lived with children and other dogs however she likes to be the Alpha . Paige is a 5 year old , 75 pound Akita .She is a loyal girl who loved being a part of a family . When her owners seperated she was rehomed and then ended up as a stray on a porch barely moving .It was determined she has anaplasmosis (a tick Bourne disease ) and is currently being treated . Her outlook is great and she should show no residual signs once she's done. We are looking fur someone familiar with the breed to take Paige under their wing.Akitas can be protective and need strong , confident owners to help them with setting clear boundaries.                                                                              KENNEL ID #01658&#226&#128&#139 Panda and his blood-brother Ghost are 3 year old male akitas, who were surrendered as a result of an animal cruelty/domestic violence case. They came to us incredibly underweight from being starved. They were covered in scars and wounds, they did not get along with each other and would fight, their injuries have been addressed. After everything they have been through, they are beyond sweet to their care takers and are loving all of the extra attention. Ghost and Panda are chilling at the Ranch in TX. These guys are still looking for homes and are available to transport back to PA.   Thank you for your interest in rescue.
