Story
Max is a 10 year old male husky who has been a beloved part of our family since he was a puppy, and we are heartbroken to be looking for a new home for him. We recently welcomed a baby, and as she has become more mobile, we’ve noticed that Max is uncomfortable and showing signs that he does not like having her in his space. While he has never bitten her, we do not want to risk a situation where either he or our child could get hurt. Max is an easygoing dog who walks calmly by your side on a leash and has shared many wonderful memories with us over the years. We are hoping to find him a loving, child-free home where he can enjoy his remaining years in comfort, safety, and affection.

Story
Meet Esme Esme is a whole vibe. This 3-5 year old girl is equal parts zest and snuggle. Whether you want to cuddle on the couch, take a ride, work on some cooking in the kitchen, go for a long walk in the woods, or BBQ with friends, she's just happy to be involved. As long as there's air conditioning, that is. As you'd expect from a husky in a Pit Bull rescue, this girl can fit in anywhere. Some pups come with emotional baggage. Esme's is a bit more... physical. For her health and comfort, she could use some help shedding a few pounds (something we're already working on). Luckily she absolutely loves a long walk, and is always eager to step out. We suspect her energy will increase as her size decreases, so if you're looking to graduate from long walks to hikes, this is your girl. She also absolutely ADORES tennis balls, and is always down to play a little catch, or just entertain herself bouncing the ball around. This girl is on a journey. We don't know much about her past, but we know she's known love, and we're excited for her to find it again. She's only been in her foster home for a few days, but she's settled in quickly, proving to be a little goofy, deeply thoughtful, and up for anything - every time we ask "What do you say, Esme?", her answer is "Yes!". We're looking forward to learning more about her, and helping her find her forever - if you think that could be you, please reach out!
