Barbie is a husky, border collie with a bit of whippet thrown in too! She is happy, sweet and super smart, very obedient. She will match your energy and snuggle on the couch or go for a hike. She’s crate trained and likes her crate, and loves to follow you around to see what you’re up to! Her energy is about 4/10 but she can come up to about a 6 if you want to! She’s been very well socialized with other dogs.

Adam is a 7 year old, male, Husky mixed breed. His face tells a story before he ever makes a sound. The scars across his muzzle hint at a rough life as a stray down South, yet his eyes are gentle and full of hope, and his tail still manages a soft wag whenever someone says hi to him. A medical workup is currently underway as we evaluate a possible leg fracture, and we expect to know more soon. None of this has dampened his spirit. He leans in for comfort, enjoys being near people, and seems genuinely grateful for every bit of kindness he receives. Staff and volunteers have fallen for him quickly, moved by his resilience and the softness beneath his weathered exterior. Adam’s past may have been difficult, but his heart remains wide open. He is ready for love, comfort, and a home that will treasure the gentle dog he has always been. ADOPTION INFORMATION HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING: - Come in during adoption hours to apply and fill out an application completely. We have applications on site. Open adoption hours take place at 44 Worthington Road in Cranston, RI. ❄️Lobo❄️ This handsome guy is Lobo ❤️ He is a gorgeous white Husky with piercing blue eyes. Lobo is a total sweetheart but he is a typical Husky who needs an experienced owner and a sturdy fence. Lobo is a big, strong boy who loves playing outside but also also enjoys being a couch potato and watching tv while he enjoys a good chew bone. Lobo is doing well with his house training and is good in his secure crate. He is fine with other dogs with proper introductions and loves every person he meets. He can still get a bit excited when meeting new people and may need to be reminded of how big he is. Lobo would be best as a companion dog where he can go on fun hikes and walks or runs where he can got out his Husky energy. He would be fine with older children but might be a bit to rambunctious for young children. If this boy sounds like the perfect fit for your lifestyle, please submit an application. Thank you for your interest in adopting Ella! Ella lives in an Alabama Foster Home and will transport when she is adopted. We look forward to speaking with you about this Dog. we have been adopting dogs to families in the north east and New England for over 15 years. Ella was surrendered to a vet. She is about 3 1/2 years old and she weighs 62 pounds, we don't expect her to grow any larger. With exercise, she may drop a few pounds. She was in boarding two months when they asked if we could get her out of boarding. She went into a foster home with an ER nurse, spouse, and other adult dogs. She is a dominant female, but she has not been difficult for her experienced foster mom. Ella is enjoying freedom out of boarding. She's crate trained and house trained. She's good on a leash. We prefer she goes to a home with a confident, male dog or that she's the only dog in the home. We have no history of her living with children, so we prefer that she go to an adult only home. Ella is spayed, recent on all vaccines, microchipped and she's receiving monthly parasite prevention, which is the treatment for a light heartworm positive test. Do a little research or message us so we can talk. A light heartworm positive means she was recently infected by a mosquito carrying a heartworm larva. The monthly prevention that she receives kills that larva in her bloodstream so that it never develops into heartworms. Just like if you were giving it to a dog that was heartworm negative every month. You will not know the difference. When Ella retests in 2027, we expect her to be negative, as long as she receives her monthly topical treatment. So if you adopt Ella, she also comes with 12 months of her preventative that is also used as her treatment. She also comes with her medical records. Ella's total adoption fee is $585, which includes transportation, a health certificate from licensed veterinarian, and her 12 months of preventative. The next Transport to Rhode Island is March 19, or drive an hour and pick her up the weekend of March 26. Serious Adopters should fill out the application online.
