Story
Bo is a 2 year old Alaskan Klee Kai that was re-homed to me about 4 months ago. When I received him I was not informed of his behavioral problems, and as a grad student am unable to afford to work through his reactivity issues. He is a very sweet and smart dog who needs a small group of his people. He enjoys being outside and learning new tricks and commands. I think he would do really well somewhere with room to be outside and another canine companion. He is very wary of strangers and needs someone who can devote significant time to his stranger danger. I believe he may have been abused in his former home and so trusting people is something he struggles with. The only reason I am looking to rehome him is because as a young single student living alone I cant manage this with my lifestyle. If you are serious about working with a reactive but rewarding dog we can talk further! He is fully crate trained and we have been working on muzzle training and starting anti-anxiety medications.

I`ve done well meeting friendly female dogs here at the shelter, but not so much male dogs. Please bring any dogs in the home when you come to meet me! Cats? I`m looking for a kitty-free home due to prey drive.Kids? I`d like to start out meeting kiddos old enough to be respectful of me. 10+I came into the shelter as a surrender and the above information is all recommendations based on my previous history and the behavior seen at the shelter. Expect to learn more about me after adoption.It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person.
