Story
Here’s gorgeous and sweet Hairy Allen’s story: He has 3 names. Hairy Allen aka Harry aka FENRIR. His current family calls him FENRIR. He needs a new FOSTER or ADOPTER ASAP! Hairy Allen was rescued from VVAPL in April 2022, estimated as 3 yrs old back then, and was adopted into what was supposed to be his forever home in June 2022. We just found out Fenrir got out of his home 4 months ago and was lost. Someone must have found him and SHAVED him. 😫😭 His family couldn’t believe it and neither could we. We have no idea what happened and he can’t tell us. He ended up at a Petsmart and was scanned and returned to the family we adopted him out to. However, they are currently going through some serious personal things and unfortunately can NO longer keep him. Harry needs a new home, either foster or adoptive asap. Here’s what his current family has to say about him: He’s an energetic happy boy. He’s not destructive, he’s potty trained, and always waited by the door when he wanted to go potty. He showed high exitement for people food and would try and beg for it. He would growl at other dogs if they got too close. Please make sure to watch Harry’s video. He is now around 5-6 yrs old, the perfect age! He’s not only sweet and loving, also knows the basic commands such as sit, shake, down and roll... He is quite a goofball, will make you laugh, quite entertaining! Harry is now around 5-6 yrs old, the perfect age, on the calm, chill and mellow side, with decent manners. Just like his name, Harry has a very soft wooly coat, such a gorgeous floofball! All he wants is a loving furever home 🏡! Story
We recently had a fourth child who suddenly became allergic to our dogs & we did not realize it until he comes in close contact with our dogs. We have tried to post our dogs on Facebook pages for adoption but have been met with hateful comments and uninterested individuals. We have been trying to rehome our dog for nearly a year and do not want him to be put down, so we tried different ways in separating our pets from our kids but it has not been successful all the time. Tydus understands basic commands such as sit, wait, lay down, paw, heel & speak. He is a dominant dog & does well with other dogs but it can take some used to being around. He’s a lounging type of dog but does get worked up when someone’s at the door (great for letting you know someone’s there). He can be talkative and a crybaby when you leave the house and back for errands but for a few minutes. If you’re interested in meeting him, please reach out. Thank you!

Story
Sheba, also known as Chinook, is a Malamute mix. 5 years old and @90 lbs. Good with kids. He is an active boy.  He's not pushy or aggressive, but instead a tad cautious in his approach to people, but once he realizes you are a dog person, he is all in for the petting, the TLC, and some treats. He loves female dogs. He originally came to us in the summer of 2021 under the name Chinook- he and a female husky had been rescued in the desert by Brandon McMillan and featured on his Stray Recon program. He was adopted a few months later and given the name Sheba. He is sadly back with us this fall due to his adopters living situation.    *Note that young dogs and pure breeds are at the highest end of our prices.* Please find our applications and valuable information under  "Adopt a dog"* on our website:  *www.beaglesandbuddies.com* and email your application to beaglesandbuddies@gmail.com. Let us know your preference of appointment day/time and which dogs you are interested in and we will do our best to accommodate and email you the closest appointment available. Please allow us up to a week to get back to you. Most appointments will be Friday-Sunday, 10 am - 2 pm, for an hour. *Note bring any other dog/s and the entire family to your meet and greet at B&B.* A complimentary training manual is included with each adoption, authored by terristeuben.com. Check out her website - she is fabulous! B&B is glad to be open during the pandemic. We know the value and comfort of a loving pet companion and are doing our best to help the dogs and folks who need them. We update our website daily and are always rescuing, vetting, rehabilitating, socializing. &#226&#128&#139 Are you my furrever family? For further info on the adoption process, please visit our home page and check out the "Adopt a Dog" section, which has thorough instructions.  All our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and  fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a leash, collar, and all medical records.   Our prices are higher than the shelters' because we nurse the dogs through their illnesses and get them needed surgeries and dentals. We also spend time socializing. Furthermore, unlike shelters, rescues do not get financial aid from the government and must rely on donations, grants, and adoption fees. Our fees for adults start at $150 and usually go up to $750. Young adults that are high in demand may be a little over $750.00. For puppies and purebreds, we charge up to $1000. The lower end is for dogs who have been here a while. The good news is that, because rescues fall under the "charity" category, the fees for our dogs are officially donations and are therefore tax deductible. You can think of it as donating to a worthy cause and getting a dog in return!  Sponsor Me Beagles & Buddies must find ways to raise money so we can continue saving dogs. Your tax-deductible donation keeps our rescue kennel operating!  Hours Friday:  10 am to 3 pm Saturday:  10 am to 3 pm Sunday: 10 am to 3 pm Monday: CLOSED Tuesday: CLOSED Wednesday: CLOSED Thursday: CLOSED &#226&#128&#139 Weekday appointments may be available.  We are a small staff and do our best to accommodate your needs. **Note that during COVID, we are not holding open houses on any day. Please email us for an appointment and include your application (found on our website, beaglesandbuddies.com, under "Forms"). Most appointments will be Friday through Sunday, though other days may also be available. We usually schedule one appointment per hour. Allow 1-2 hours for your appointment. Please look at our website and make a list of one or more dogs that you would like to see. Contacting Us If you have a question about adopting, giving up a dog, boarding, or volunteering, please visit the appropriate tabs on our  home page. Story
Kiki is a five-year-old Malamute with a heart as big as her fluffy coat! This lovely girl has a wonderful temperament, making her an easy fit for a variety of homes. She’s shown that she gets along well with other dogs and has a gentle, friendly nature that makes her great with both adults and kids. Though she may exchange a few barks with other high-energy dogs, Kiki is relaxed and doesn’t mind hanging out with smaller pups close by.On walks, Kiki is a dream, calmly staying by your side on a leash. She takes treats with a gentle mouth and is always excited to meet new friends, whether human or furry. During grooming sessions, she’s the perfect companion, lying relaxed and allowing her handler to brush her thick coat, even giving a little “chat” here and there as if to show her appreciation.Kiki would be a wonderful addition to a loving home that can provide her with the attention she deserves, plenty of brushing, and lots of love. If you’re looking for a sweet, easygoing, and affectionate dog, Kiki could be the perfect match for you!I`m available for a 10 day adoption trial!Learn more about our adoption process.
