Story
Rufus is a mellow, easygoing guy who’s ready to settle into a home where he has room to stretch out and relax. He thrives in a larger space and needs a home with a yard where he can enjoy the outdoors at his own leisurely pace. Housetrained and well-mannered, Rufus makes a smooth transition into home life. This sweet boy is family-friendly and has a special way of leaning in for affection, quietly asking for love and connection. He’s good with other dogs, though he prefers slow, thoughtful introductions to make sure everyone feels comfortable. He sometimes can be dominant with other large male dogs, but we think this is because he has not been fixed quite yet. He does do much better with another dog in the home so we are looking for that for him. If you’re looking for a calm, loyal companion who enjoys both space and snuggles, Rufus might be just the perfect addition to your home.

Story
Nikki and Koda ended up in a shelter in SoCal after their owner passed away. They had lived on a piece of land in Temecula with other dogs of all sizes, cats, chickens, pigs ducks and goats. Nikki had been with her owner since she was a puppy and was described as the mama dog on the property and the animals would all go to her. She even raised a goat as her own! Nikki knows her basic commands and has the sweetest disposition. She loves to snuggle into pillows and blankets for a comfy nap. Nikki is an easy-going girl who craves human affection and has been described as “loving baby animals.” Nikki's son, Koda, is half lab, half malamute who was born on the family ranch. Koda walks nicely on leash and knows his basic commands. He is a sweet boy who spent his days on the ranch outside, taking naps and observing the resident animals on the property. Koda absolutely loves human attention, flashing his charming grin and offering a paw in exchange for affection. These two bonded sweeties are looking for their forever home together!

Story
Ghost is a strikingly handsome black and white Husky with the most mesmerizing ice-blue eyes you’ve ever seen. This beautiful boy was recently pulled from the shelter to help make space for the hundreds of dogs rescued from a large hoarding situation in Southern California in March 2026 — and now he’s ready for a fresh start and a forever family of his own. Like many Huskies, Ghost has a gentle spirit paired with a curious, intelligent nature. He’s been through a lot of change recently, but he’s showing everyone just how resilient and loving he can be. With a little patience and understanding, Ghost is already beginning to relax, trust, and let his sweet personality shine through. Ghost would thrive with an adopter who appreciates the Husky breed — someone who can provide structure, enrichment, exercise, and most importantly, love. Whether he’s exploring the outdoors, learning new routines, or simply soaking up affection, Ghost is ready to bond deeply with his person. This stunning boy didn’t just make room for other dogs to be saved — now it’s his turn to be the one whose life is changed. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with movie-star looks and a heart full of potential, Ghost may be your perfect match.

Story
If you’ve ever dreamed of a Husky with movie-star looks and perfect manners — Milton is your guy. This handsome Husky recently got his freedom from the shelter and immediately showed everyone what an incredible companion he is. After being rescued, Milton joined his rescuers for a café outing where he calmly settled under their chairs, slept peacefully while they ate, didn’t beg for food, and behaved like an absolute gentleman from start to finish. Truly, a perfect angel. Milton has a steady, well-balanced personality that makes him stand out. He’s polite, observant, and seems to understand how to exist beautifully in human spaces. Whether you’re grabbing coffee with friends, working from home, or heading out for a walk, Milton is the kind of dog who will quietly and loyally stay by your side. At around three years old, he’s past the chaotic puppy phase but still has plenty of life, love, and adventure ahead of him. He would thrive in a home that appreciates a calm, well-mannered companion, someone who wants a dog they can truly share life with. Milton waited patiently for his second chance. Now he’s ready to give his whole heart to the person who chooses him.
