Story
Thor is a staff and volunteer favorite, and once you meet him it's easy to see why. This 70 lb love-bug craves affection and will lean against you while you pet him and tell him he's a good boy. Once he's out of the chaotic shelter environment, Thor walks nicely on leash and has wonderful manners. He knows the "sit" command and takes treats gently. He's an intelligent boy and would thrive in a home that will provide plenty of enrichment and teach him new commands. Thor loves toys and will jump into the toy bin in the play yard to select his own playthings. He enjoys fetch and tug-o-war, and playing with other dogs. To set up a meet and greet with Thor, go to HSNB.org and fill out a dog adoption interest application. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 67 Age: 3yrs 8mths 0wks

Story
Good day, I'm Yami, known for my handsome good looks and smoldering baby blues. What makes me stand out is I perform a "happy" bouncy dance for the volunteer walkers before they take me out for a walk and to play. It works because they are always happy after my dance. It's magical.Like most huskies, I'm smart, friendly, but shy, good disposition, and affectionate. I enjoy snuggling, pets, kisses, going on walks, playing with toys and snacks. I walk well on a leash and know basic commands like sit, down, wait, and heel, but I'm sure with love, structure and guidance I can learn alot more. The volunteers have been working with me on my manner and I have improved a great deal. I'm compatible with other dogs, but am dog selective. If you have a dog, you can bring it to visit me to see if we can be friends. I'm afraid I'm not a fan of cats or other small animals. I'm compatible with well-behaved older kids and would thrive with an active, loving family that has the time to provide me with both physical and mental stimulation. I know I can bring joy and happiness to your family. Please come see for yourself. I'll do my "happy" dance for you.My adoption fee of $150 means I'll come to you neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on all my vaccinations. Please visit www.hsnb.org to fill out an adoption interest application and set-up a date. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 73.375 Age: 6yrs 5mths 4wks

Story
Hodor is HODORABLE! Goofy and playful, but also respectful, sweet, noble, gentle, loving, and enjoys exploring as much as he loves getting hugs. Whoever ends up adopting him will end up bragging to their friends about having gotten The Perfect Dog. Because he gets along with every age group, doesn't engage in conflict with other dogs, takes interest in his surroundings, is a master napper, enjoys hanging out as much as going out. He entertains himself with stuffies and toys, or just looking out the window at the world going by. He comes already trained, is pretty good on leash (unless he sees a critter that he wants to befriend or chase), and he exudes a calming, sweet presence. He's fun to take places because he's so remarkably handsome, with his heterochromia, black-tipped white fur, and cheerful, sweet smile. For as beautiful as he is, he prefers to be appreciated for his enchanting character. He has many years left on him to accompany his adopter(s) through the epic adventures and small delights that are inherent to sharing life with such a lovely dog. The only regret you might have about adopting Hodor is not having adopted him sooner.

Story
Ferdinand is a mellow gentleman who’s just waiting to meet you. At first, he doesn’t show much emotion, and he has some facial markings that make him look a bit dramatic. But once Ferdinand figures out you’re there to take him out, he’s all about it. He’s an easy-going leash walker and is friendly and well-behaved passing other dogs. If you’re looking for an adult member of your household, Ferdinand would be a great addition. He’s past the puppy stage, but still full of energy and curiosity. He will make a fine member of just about any new family. He appears to be housetrained.
