Story
Bear is a 120+ pound Malamute mix with an even bigger heart of gold. This gentle giant is estimated to be around 3 years old, and he has the sweetest, mellowest personality. He recently attended an adoption event and was an absolute star — patient, calm, and happy to soak up attention from everyone he met. He loved posing for photos, leaning into the love, and showing off just how wonderful he is. Bear enjoys the simple things in life: lounging by your side, going for a nice walk, and being part of the family. He is house trained, knows how to sit, and has lovely manners. Despite his impressive size, Bear is a soft, steady, affectionate boy who moves through the world with a gentle confidence. Bear gets along great with other big dogs and would love a canine companion his size. He would be a wonderful match for someone who appreciates large-breed dogs and is looking for a loyal, easygoing best friend. Bear is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and ready to find his forever home.

Story
Rufus is a mellow, easygoing guy who’s ready to settle into a home where he has room to stretch out and relax. He thrives in a larger space and needs a home with a yard where he can enjoy the outdoors at his own leisurely pace. Housetrained and well-mannered, Rufus makes a smooth transition into home life. This sweet boy is family-friendly and has a special way of leaning in for affection, quietly asking for love and connection. He’s good with other dogs, though he prefers slow, thoughtful introductions to make sure everyone feels comfortable. He sometimes can be dominant with other large male dogs, but we think this is because he has not been fixed quite yet. He does do much better with another dog in the home so we are looking for that for him. If you’re looking for a calm, loyal companion who enjoys both space and snuggles, Rufus might be just the perfect addition to your home.
