Story
How this pet arrived: Alaska was brought in by a community member on January 20, 2026.Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Alaska! Big fluff, bold spirit, and always ready to explore, Alaska is an adventurous guy with classic "what's over there?" energy. If there's something to investigate, he's on it - sometimes even over the fence - so he should not be left unattended in the yard. Alaska sports a thick, fluffy coat that turns heads and draws compliments. Regular brushing is needed to prevent matting and keep his coat in good shape. As a working breed, Alaska is built for action and brain power. He needs plenty of physical exercise and mental enrichment to stay happy, think long walks, hikes, training, puzzles, and jobs to do. He's a sweet, active pup looking for a family that enjoys staying busy and including him in the action. If you're ready for a fun, high-energy companion with a big personality to match his name, Alaska is ready to go.At SDHS:Alaska has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He is now ready for his new home! Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Grey Weight: 59.4 Age: 6yrs 0mths 0wks

Story
Sushi is a beautiful Alaskan Malamute/Husky mix born on February 14, 2022 a fitting birthday for such a loving dog. My sister and I adopted her from a litter at 8 weeks old, and she has been raised in a structured, attentive, and loving home. She is crate trained, primarily an indoor dog, and enjoys daily walks and outdoor playtime. Sushi completed basic obedience training at Dogs World Academy at 6 months old and knows commands including heel, wait, where’s your toy, sit, down, up, and stay. For training consistency, she is not allowed on furniture. Sushi does very well with other dogs but is not suitable for homes with cats due to prey drive. Her medical care is fully up to date, and she is well groomed every 4–6 weeks. She eats Kirkland dog food (3½–4 cups daily), weighs about 73 lbs, and does not eat human food. Sushi is sweet, affectionate, and gentle. She thrives in a calm home with routine, positive reinforcement, companionship, and a family committed to her long-term.

Sniper is astonishingly sweet and playful with all people and dogs, and would thrive in an active family, preferably with another canine companion to share in the fun! He is always ready for walks, trips, and cuddles, and is just as happy to lounge on the patio. He is social and absolutely wonderful with all dogs, people and kids. He LOVES playing with his toys and chews. He is a quick learner and is treat and praise motivated. He enjoys his daily runs with his rescue friends and he can just as easily cuddle up on the couch next to you for a nap. Sniper is just the best boy and deserves an active home with another friendly dog. Sniper was dumped on the street by a POS landlord who kicked out a family after and ICE RAID . We saw him running down the street and caught him.Sniper is NOT an escape artist and hasn't even attempted to jump the 5 foot rescue fence. DIAMOND IN THE RUFF! Apply now to adopt Sniper and give him the life he deserves , a life filled with love and companionship
