Story
Kiana has not been the luckiest and her past two owners passed away. I have had her with me for almost 2 months and have gotten to the point where I need help. Kiana loves all humans but she doesn’t like most dogs. I have a 10 month old puppy that she keeps randomly attacking and as a single mom of 2 kids, it is really just too stressful. Kiana grew up in the mountains and spent most time outside. She would do best in a home with no other dogs and a large yard. She loves going on runs and howling with you. Kiana is a big sweetheart. She really deserves to live out her life in a happy and safe environment. Her behavior at home with people is very chill but she gets stressed or wound up around other animals. I think her protective nature makes this worse because she will get mad at my puppy for coming near me.

Story
Lou is 3 years old and one of the best dogs Ive had the pleasure of raising. A few things to note: HE IS LEASH AGGRESSIVE - Lou does have a difficult time staying relaxed when leashed. I've been working with him a lot lately, and it can be towards people, but most of the time towards other dogs. HE DOES GREAT WITH OTHER DOGS OFF LEASH - Ive taken Lou to bear creek dog park many times, and he loves it. It will take him a moment to warm up, but once he does, he has a great time and plays VERY well with other dogs. I also have a Cane Corso / Husky thats 6-months old, and has been with us since 6-weeks. That being said, Lou has been a really great play-mate for him, as well as watching over him / teaching him new things. On another note, I keep a shock collar on Lou at all times when he's off leash. It makes a huge difference. I HAVE A 2 YEAR OLD BABY BOY WHOS GROWN UP WITH LOU - Lou became extremely protective of him when he was born. But he's not great with other kids. More info-

Story
Hello world! I`m Petra. I`m a very special girl that requires a very special home to match! I`m learning a lot here at TCRAS and enjoy meeting new dogs - some of them are lots of fun! Some of them are a little intimidating to me. I`m willing to give most dogs a chance though! Walking on a leash is a new novelty for me but I`m getting better about it. I`m also learning that people aren`t all that bad, although I prefer the company of other dogs. If you`d like to learn more about me or think you might be my extra special home than call TCRAS at 719-686-7707 and make an appointment to meet me!

Story
Blair is an older gal looking for her next home. She appears to have missed out on some socialization opportunities when she was younger, so she prefers to take her time settling into new places and building relationships with new people. Due to her tender nature, HSBV will only rehome her to a family without children or with children over the age of 12.Our team describes Blair as: quirky, confident, and patient!
