Story
It is with a heavy heart that we are looking to rehome our purebread AKC certified Alaskan Malamute, Zeus. He has been part of our family since he was just 4 months old, so this is not a decision we have made lightly. He is 9 years old and is a gentle giant and an affectionate lap dog who craves attention, companionship, and lots of love. While he is generally sweet-natured, he can be a little unpredictable at times, so we feel he would do best in a home without young children. He has never bitten anyone and is much less intimidating than his size and appearance might suggest. Most of the time, he simply wants to be close to his people and soak up all the love and attention he can get. We are looking for an experienced, loving home that understands large breeds and can provide the time, patience, and affection he deserves. He would thrive with someone who wants a loyal companian. We are willing to help cover costs for getting him neutered if needed.
