Story
Looking to Re-Home Two Siberian Husky mixes. Boo & Wazowski are brother and sister and have been together since birth. They’re just under 2 years old (born January 3rd) and are extremely bonded, so they must stay together. They’re great around adults, kids, and other dogs. They can be a little nervous at first, but they warm up quickly and are very sweet once comfortable. Both are in excellent health, fixed, and up-to-date on their shots. They have lived primarily outdoors, so they aren’t fully house trained yet, but they have been indoors for short periods and have never been destructive. They are crate trained. As northern breeds, they do have the typical traits: • Can be little escape artists (but have never actually run away) • Boo loves to dig • They’re great at hunting field mice and small rodents • Active, smart, and playful They’ve lived with five other dogs with no issues. We have to move closer to the city and can’t take them with us, so we’re looking for a loving, stab

Story
If you've ever dreamed of sharing your life with a giant, fluffy best friend, Nanook is ready to make that dream come true. For much of his life, Nanook knew little more than the end of a chain. He watched the world from the same spot day after day, never getting the chance to learn what it meant to be part of a family or live inside a home. Now he is finally getting his second chance! Despite everything he's been through, Nanook has an incredibly gentle heart. He's sweet, affectionate, and genuinely enjoys being around people. It's almost as if he's decided that the past isn't worth holding against anyone. Because he spent so much of his life outdoors, Nanook is still learning the basics of indoor living - this includes potty training. This isn't him being stubborn; no one ever gave him the opportunity to learn. With patience, consistency, and plenty of praise we know he'll catch on. Nanook doesn't need perfection. He needs someone who understands that every "accident" is simply part of learning a life he was unfairly denied for so many years. He has waited long enough for soft beds instead of dirt, warm homes instead of chains, and a family who sees him as more than a dog in the yard. Nanook has already survived the hardest part of his story. Now all he needs is someone to write the happy ending he's always deserved!

Story
Indy is a loyal, affectionate, and adventurous dog who forms strong bonds with his people. He loves hikes, car rides, and playing with dog friends at the park. At home, he's calm, trustworthy, never destructive, and happy relaxing on the couch. With his family, Indy is incredibly sweet, snuggly, and loving and he’s great with our free-range ducks. Since we had our baby, he has become more protective of our home and family. Indy has a history of food-related resource guarding toward people and dogs, and his protectiveness has led to increased reactivity toward unfamiliar people. Most recently, he bit someone who tried to pet him while he was resting on his bed. Indy needs an experienced, adult-only home with no cats, where someone understands resource guarding and can provide structure, boundaries, and management. We believe he'll be an amazing companion in the right home. Since shelters won’t take a dog with bite history, if he doesn’t find a home soon we have to euthanize him.
