Story
Bailey is 3 years old. I walked into a pet store meant for VERY purebred dogs, not expecting to walk out with fluff ball Bailey. The dogs there were selected to be sold, and often went to dog shows and/or to be bred for "high-end" puppy sales. In my view, I was saving Bailey from a loveless life of breeding or shows, it didn't matter the astronomical price. Due to her behavior with her sister, Jesse, I must find a loving home for her. Unknown to me, husky and malamute combinations CAN work but are very difficult. Malamutes are best in a single-dog family but can be great with other dogs too. Bailey needs a loving home where she can run, thrive, and receive the most amount of love a dog can get. She has a HUGE personality and will audibly let you know that. She does not "talk" annoyingly or constantly, though. She is a goofball and really just needs a family that will give her the attention she deserves. She is a beautiful dog you WILL NOT see another Alaskan malamute like Bailey.

"Meet Balto! He is a sweet pup who is very treat-motivated. He is working on learning to sit and not to jump up on people. He is a little shy at first but warms up well! He cannot go to a home with chickens or young children. Stop by the Pet Center today to meet this handsome boy! Until he is fixed, he is only available as a foster, to foster Balto you must live in Pittsylvania County or Danville City"

Story
Goes with crate, temp scan microchip Hi I’m Moose! I’m ~3 years old and spent most of my life chained up on someone’s front porch. This has lead to my anxiety around new things. I need someone who is patient, can read my body language, and respects my boundaries. I am a sweet, goofy, couch potato who loves to take naps outside. We brought Moose home ~9 months ago off the euthanasia list at an over crowded shelter. His biggest obstacle is his anxiety but he continues to open up every day so just go slow with new things! He does well on a leash/long lead and in the house but cannot overcome his prey drive towards our cats. We muzzle and crate trained him for this reason, but it’s just not safe for the cats for him to stay here. We love him dearly, but believe he would thrive in a home without any small animals where we could roam free and at ease. He deserves it! Happy to do meet and greets with new dogs! He has shown no signs of being dog reactive.

Story
Haku means "pure" in Japanese! I was named for my pure, passionate and overwhelming love for everyone around me! I came to the rescue when my dad was stationed in Japan and heartbroken that he couldn't take me with him. I've missed him so much ever since! Everyday I do the things I did with him with other dogs so I can try and remember what it felt like to be with him! But it's just not the same. So, I'm hoping a new family can come scoop me up and show me what it feels like to be a part of a home and family again! I am good with other dogs, I love playing chase with them or tugging on chew toys. I'll need a happy and active home so that my life will be full of love and fun! I am a bit anxious and nervous around new people, and people in general! Slow introductions, a safe space I can retreat to like a crate and not forcing me into spaces with tons of people will help me be myself all the time! Haku can only be adopted in the local or TX area. Local adoption only, in San Antonio or TX area, $200.
