Rosie is a bulldog that wandered into the yard of a wonderful lady who happened to be scared of dogs. But she was so sweet and let her stay there and she took her down to the vet to get scanned for a microchip and she had one! The clinic called the owners and no answer. Then the good samaritan kept calling the owner and no answer and now the phone is off. She had posted flyers, found the owner on FB and sent more messages. Her blocked her and does NOT want the dog back clearly. So she called us as she didint know what to do. She is actually afraid of dogs but didnt have the heart to put her outside or take her to the shelter as she knows that is a death sentence for most dogs. So she did her best at taking care of her and she then found us. We immedialty starting looking and got her into a foster home . When we went to assess the dog at first she immedialty jumped in my arms and wanted to play. She is a playful girl, super sweet and cuddly and just not a mean bone in her body. She doesn't bark at all really. She is a little overweight so we will be putting her on a healthy diet. Craves attention and will actually whine for it. LOVES toys and is leash trained. He does NOT like cats and is ok with some dogs. He would thrive in a home where he is the only pet. Meet Waffles Waffles got his name because he is SO sweet!! He was born in 2020 andweighs about 70 lbs. He is a 100% pure beefcake of love. He's so handsome and he knows it and once look at those, maple colored and soulful eyes, he will melt your heart. Waffles is very friendly and a total wiggle butt. He's energetic and loves to play. He would love having a home with a yard that he can run zoomies in and another playful and well-balanced buddy would be a huge plus too. This boy loves to learn and really strives to be told he's a good boy. Plus he's very food and toy motivated which makes training him easier! This is Buddha. He also goes by his nick name “Gugus” or “Gugu Bear”. He was rescued from the Riverside County Animal Shelter in Jurupa Valley. He had issues such as dermatitus at first. But he has made a full recovery since I have taken him to the vet. Perfectly healthy right now. He is what you would call a “couch potato” and loves to sleep. Very enthusiastic eater so it is easy to motivate him with treats. He is introverted and tends to be nervous and cautious around new people, but once he likes you, he is a lap dog. Doesn’t need too much room for activities as he is not high energy. Rarely barks and has a quiet personality. Loves car rides and sunbathing outside. Perfect dog for home bodies and introverts. However, he doesnt like receiving kisses or having someone’s face close to his.
