MEET PEACHES! She is as sweet as her name. Peaches was rescued from a local shelter euthanasia list. She has medium to low energy. Peaches is dog selective and would do best with older kids and no cats or small dogs. She would be OK being the only animal in the home. Peaches is very sweet and loves to get pets and cuddle with you. Don’t let her big size fool you as she is an absolute love bug. Peaches is potty trained and crate trained. She is five years old and very easy to manage as long as she gets enough attention and some activity, but she doesn’t need much. Short walks will be fine for her because she gets tired pretty easily. She is strong because of her size. Peaches is about 85 pounds of pure love. She would do best as an inside dog, since she does have allergies being in the sun. She would be OK in a home or apartment/condo as long as she has outside space to access, but she should not be kept outdoors. Please let us know if you can foster her long-term for this rescue who is in desperate need of help. Fostering for a rescue still helps save lives because it allows the rescue to take in more dogs from the shelter. Astro will match your energy. He likes to run around and play and also likes to take a good old fashioned nap in the sun. I've socialized Astro since he was a puppy. He regularly goes to the dog park. True to his breed he is defensive around his owner, but he is also playful once he feels comfortable around the other dogs. At the dog park, if he observes other dogs getting into arguments, then he will jump in and break them up. He is a very curious dog. He wants to be in the center of what is happening and sees the world through his nose. He is content to just sit at your feet while you work and be with you. Astro is both crate and house trained. On cold days he will let us know he needs to go. On warm days we tend to leave the door open a little and he lets Astro knows how to sit, stay, lay down. After his daily walk he knows to sit before we will take off his harness. He also knows how to fetch. We engaged with a professional trainer to help us get him settled.

Toby (formerly Georgie at Downey Shelter in Los Angeles County) is such a giant lapdog! He loves to be held, is definitely a tennis ball kind of dog, and is very playful. Toby prefers the company of other polite dogs and doesn't love when overly exuberant dogs crowd him too much. But he is very tolerant and has excellent doggy manners. Toby is house trained, crate trained, does well in the car, and is so so sweet. Toby is the spitting image of Chance from Homeward Bound and not far off from Petey in The Little Rascals. His family of 8 years loves him dearly, but their landlord is making changes to their lease agreement and no longer allowing pets. They describe Titus as a happy, gentle dog. He is very loving towards people, including children. He loves attention and being petted. Titus also loves being outdoors and often sits outside on their apartment balcony. He enjoys going for walks and would love having a yard! As much as Titus loves people, he does not do well with other animals and needs to be the only pet in the home. Titus is in good health, but as with most senior dogs, he needs to go potty more frequently than when he was younger. He is currently on a schedule of going out every 6-8 hours. She is also good with cats and other dogs! Bubu currently eats kibble and loves mealtime, but she doesn't exhibit any food aggression. Like many seniors, Bubu has arthritis. She takes medication (Carprofen) for comfort and still enjoys going short walks. Bubu also gets eye drops daily, but she is such a good girl, it's easy to give them to her. Hi, this is Sebastian he is a full breed boxer and he is 2 years old. He’s very social and loves attention and hugs. He has grown up around his 2 other brothers from same litter but unfortunately due to moving I cannot keep him. He’s very friendly and loves to run and play catch. He loves making friends at the dog park. He has a great personality and we are so sad to have to see him go. He need’s special attention to his diet because he’s allergic to chicken and eats a salmon & rice blend dog food. Also he has sensitive skin due to these food allergies. He’s the smallest out of all his brothers I’d say he weighs low 60’s lbs! He is microchipped and he is fixed. With up to date shots!

We've owned Jax since he was a small puppy (Fall of '22), and bought him from family friends who had bought his sister. He is a fun and playful dog who loves to run and play, but also loves to cuddle and relax :) He is a good guard dog and loves to be "heard", which means he likes to bark. He has a bark collar that you can have that helps curb that. We have three children and he is great with kids and is very protective of his "family". We are also re-homing his "brother", Moose, who is an almost 3yr old Pitsky; and they get along splendidly. We would love both dogs to go to the same family, but understand if thats not feasible. The reason we're rehoming is because having 2 medium/large dogs need a larger yard where they can run, dig, and play; and our busy schedules with work, school, sports, etc has increased this year to the point where they need more focus and attention which we can't provide them anymore. We want them to go to a loving family with a large yard for them to run :)
