Story
🐾 Hello, caring soul! 🐾 My name is Juno, and I'm sending you the warmest woofs and tail wags from my temporary home at the shelter. Life has taken an unexpected turn, and I find myself in need of a new family. My previous owner, who once showered me with love, brought me here on 03/01/2024, citing a lack of time for a sweet girl like me. I'm a 2-year-old American Bully, with a stunning brindle and white coat that matches the complexity of my loving heart. At 35 pounds, I may not be the biggest pup around, but I assure you, my spirit is vast and filled with love, just waiting for someone to share it with. Though I'm feeling a bit confused right now, I haven't lost my sweetness or my gentle nature. I've been taught to sit and lay down, and I'm eager to learn even more tricks with you by my side. Plus, all my shots are up to date, and once you take me home, I'll be spayed too. It's just one less thing for you to worry about because I want to focus all my energy on being the best companion you could ever ask for. While I've never been around kids or cats, I'm good with other dogs, and I'm house trained, so you can trust me to be a well-behaved addition to your family. If you're ready to open your heart and home to a super sweet girl who's just looking for love and stability, then please, come meet me at cage #826. My ID is 653997, and I'll be waiting with hopeful eyes and a wagging tail, just longing for the chance to be loved by someone as special as you. Thank you for considering me, Juno, as your newest family member. Together, we can embark on the most heartwarming journey of love, trust, and companionship. 🐾❤️ Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The shelter prefers people to make an apt., go to - https://nqa3.nemoqappointment.com/Booking/Booking/Index/as65fg9dr953 and select Adoption. Or you can just stop by during business hours. Story
We would like to introduce this exquisite beauty who is named Sasha. Sasha came to the shelter along with her bestie (possibly sister, Ava) on 2/29. They were found on the side of the road and when contacted the previous owner signed them over to the shelter. Their world was abruptly turned upside down and now they need a guardian angel to save them and keep them safe so they never return to a shelter again. Sasha is sweet and simply adorable, look at that face! And they are both beautiful and sweet. They probably grew up together and have each other's backs very, very much. A volunteer is taking them under her wing to help them overcome their fears so that their true personalities will shine through. An officer was also kind enough to take some time to comfort the girls. Sasha is very intelligent as she knows to sit when asked, and she may know even more once she opens up more. We are also hoping she can be adopted with her sister since she feels so safe with Ava but it’s not mandatory. Can you help her get out of this shelter so she can experience a second chance at a stable life in a home that will keep her safe, happy and loved? If you have the room in your heart and home for Sasha or for both that would be amazing. If you are looking for a companion for your pup, bring your pup and see if one or both of these babies would be a match for your dog! Sasha is 3 years old, and weighs 41lbs. She is current on vaccines, and will be spayed, microchipped and heartworm tested before adoption.Sasha is patiently waiting for you in Run 86, please ask for ID # 653993. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
🐾 Hello, wonderful souls! My name is Zara, and I'm here to share my story with you, hoping it'll lead me to my forever home where I can finally feel safe, loved, and cherished. I'm a 1-year-old female pup with a striking black and white coat, and while I may be of medium size, my heart is as big as can be. My journey brought me here, to this shelter, on 02/27/2024, after my previous owner sadly couldn't take care of me anymore. It's been a bit scary being here, but I'm holding onto hope that you might be the one to change my luck. I am current on vaccines, spayed and tested negative for heartworms; I will be microchipped upon adoption. I'm healthy and ready to start a new chapter with you. Now, here's a little secret about me - I've probably never been on a leash before. In fact, I had to be carried outside here at the shelter! But don't let that fool you - I'm a quick learner and I'm sure I'll get the hang of it in no time with your patient guidance. Despite my uncertainties, I'm as cute as can be and I do know how to sit! You'll find me eagerly waiting for your visit in cage #411, and my ID is 653925. So why wait? Come meet me and let's see if we're destined to be together! Together, we'll share endless snuggles, fun adventures, and a bond that's unbreakable. I can't wait to meet you and start our journey together. 🐾 Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. Story
Fran has the most beautiful markings! Fran was one of the puppies who was found in a dumpster back in December by our local animal control. She is almost four months old and is ready for find her forever home! We do not know her parents or exactly what her breed is. What breed mix is she?? Who knows! Boxer? Pug? Take a guess!! We think that she will reach about at about 40 pounds or so when full grown, but her family should be prepared for a large breed dog since we do not know who mom and dad are. Fran has lots of puppy energy and loves to keep her foster family on their toes! She loves to play with toys, but LOVES to chew on your fingers and toes more. She wrestles with her siblings and then comes over for cuddles. She LOVES playing with other dogs! Fran currently weighs 11 pounds. If you are interested in adopting Fran, please fill out an application at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FAY-A-7246 **Applications can take anywhere from 5-7 business days to complete. When filling out an application, please check for a confirmation email to be sure that your application went through. We respond by email, so please check your spam and trash folders. Story
Once upon a time there was a precious little girl that wound up on a highway, she was hit by a car and sat in the pouring rain on the yellow lines in the middle of the road with her left back leg dangling into the oncoming traffic because it was so severely busted up and she was in to much pain, stunned & to scared and too cold to move as oncoming vehicles sped around her without stopping, until finally a good hearted young man stopped and pulled her out of the rain. As he took her to the emergency hospital to try and get her help, the rain stopped and a rainbow appeared -so that was what he called her, and it was a perfect name for a sweet girl whose personality is so happy and rosy that all she wants to do is love/kiss everyone she meets. Her personality is so rosy that we added that to her name (Rainbow Rosie). Not only would Rainbow Rosie make a loving family member, but she would also (with a trainer to help her learn how to settle since she is SOOO excited to meet new people) make an amazing therapy/emotional support dog for children in hospitals, veterans, or anyone in need to help them realize that there is always more to life after a tragedy. Rainbow Rosie is a 5 year old (approx) female American Bully mix (she's an outstanding ambassador for this breed) and she is completely healed/vetted and ready for a her next adventure with a loving family. If you are interested in adopting Rainbow, please fill out an application at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FAY-A-6760 **Applications can take anywhere from 5-7 business days to complete.
