Kuzco has been thriving in foster care and its become clear that the shelter environment didnt allow his true personality to shine. Outside of the kennel&#44 Kuzco is a calm&#44 quiet dog who enjoys a relaxed routine. He sleeps a good portion of the day but also loves playing with toys and heading out for walks. On leash&#44 he can be strong and may pull at times&#44 though hes also capable of loose-leash walking and continues to improve. Hes very food-motivated&#44 making him easy and enjoyable to train.<br/><br/>Kuzco is house trained and does very well in an x-pen when left alone and overnight. Hes a quiet companion overall-aside from his impressively loud snoring!-and he even doesnt mind the rain&#44 which is a definite bonus.<br/><br/>Kuzco would do best in a quiet&#44 adult-only home. He is unsure around strangers and has shown some protective behavior toward his foster by giving warning growls&#44 so a low-traffic household without frequent visitors will help him feel secure. While he hasnt been integrated with other dogs in the home&#44 he has done well walking alongside them. His experience with cats is unknown.<br/><br/>Affectionately&#44 Kuzco is a big softie who has no idea how large he is. He loves to lean into his people&#44 rub against them&#44 and soak up head pets. With his huge&#44 smooshy snout and oversized head&#44 hes impossible not to fall for. Kuzco is looking for a patient&#44 understanding home where he can continue to decompress&#44 feel safe&#44 and enjoy a peaceful life with someone who appreciates a gentle giant.
