Story
This handsome boy is Mogli (b. 2022). He is a friendly American Bulldog/Australian Shepherd mix looking for a loving home. Mogli is housebroken and good with kids of all ages. Don't let his size fool you, he would love to sit on your lap and give kisses. He would be best with a fenced yard where he can run and play.  Watch your front door if he's around, an open door is an invitation for him to explore on his own!  If you have a lap and a yard, Mogli would like a play date with you. The suggested adoption donation for Mogli is $400, which includes a lifetime of free relationship-based training for any behavioral problems (not obedience training). Muddy Paws is a 501c3 non-profit organization meaning that part of your donation MAY be TAX DEDUCTIBLE. We are a 100% volunteer rescue committed to giving animals a second chance at life. All donations go toward that mission. Adoption fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals.  In 2022 alone, we provided animal Healthcare totaling over $390,000 covered mainly through adoption fees. Information about the adoption process: All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application has completed our prescreen steps, we will put you in touch with the animal’s foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the animal. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver.  Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks, and a Home Visit (Virtual in some cases)  during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each animal, based on the animal’s needs. If you and the animal are not a good match, we will help you select another animal, or we will keep your approved application on file for 6 months.  To learn about Muddy Paws Last Chance Rescue or donate to our animals, please visit our website at MuddyPawsSecondChanceRescue.com or our Facebook Page Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue Inc. Please Note: A Courtesy Post designates that an animal is still in the home of its owner and not in a Muddy Paws foster. This means that our exposure to the animal is limited since we only assist the owner in finding a new home for their pet. From time to time owner,s find a new furever home for their pets outside of Muddy Paws Last Chance Rescue, and there is a delay in removing them from our site. We apologize if the Courtesy Post you apply to adopt is unavailable for adoption.  Alter Agreement:  If the dog or cat you adopt is older than 6 months of age and not spayed or neutered, you will receive a voucher to alter the pet at Val Verde Animal Hospital in Omaha, at no cost to you.  Or you can alter the pet at your own vet and be reimbursed $100 for dogs, and $50 for cats, of total cost.  If the dog or cat is younger than 6 months of age, the adopter will be responsible for the cost of altering the pet at the vet of their choice.  If proof of alter is received by Muddy Paws prior to the pet turning 6 months of age, a reimbursement of $100 for dogs, and $50 for cats, will be sent to you to help cover expenses.  All puppies and kittens MUST be spayed or neutered by 6 months of age.  All dogs and cats MUST be spayed or neutered no later than one month after adoption is finalized. ##1988357##

Story
Topaz is a handsome, young Scott American Bulldog, born 3/27/2021. He is a super snuggly, very smart boy who knows basic commands (sit/stay/down/shake/kennel) and is looking for a home that can help boost his confidence and provide him with consistency and love so that his goofy, fun-lovin' personality can shine. Topaz prefers adult conversation and company. He's totally down for chill, adult-only dinner parties on the patio and will settle right in for an evening of fireside chats. Topaz chuckles and rolls his eyes when you ask about his potty behavior, "Are you kidding me? Of course I'm housetrained... who would do that inside." This smart boy is crate trained, 5 stars on a leash (enjoys walks), and so eager to please. He loves car rides, the open road, and you by his side. Topaz, as your forever buddy, will snuggle up in bed and is always up for a night of Netflix and popcorn after a busy day. Due to some experiences he had as a young pup, Topaz will require more than one meeting because he can be slow to trust new people. However, once you've made it into his circle of trust, he's all yours with lots of love to give! Apply today to meet Topaz and see if you're his match!  The suggested adoption fee for Topaz is $365. Bullies-N-Beyond ResQ is a non-profit corporation that is 100% volunteer operated. Adoption fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. All dogs adopted through BNBR are adopted with DHPP, Rabies, Lepto and Bordetella. All dogs will also be adopted out as already spayed or neutered if old enough, or a voucher will be provided once the dog becomes of age. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. BNBR does not adopt on a first serve basis. All available dogs are adopted based on their needs to provide the best fit home. ##1632418##

Story
ADOPT BERNADETTE! Bernie is such an incredible girl. She loves long walks and sniffing game trails for hours on end. She is a very smart black nose cur mix 4 1/2 years old. Bernie is always looking for attention and love, she wants nothing more than to kiss faces, love on her people and play with them too. She’s an energetic and lively young lady and she deserves all the love and care in the world. Bernie needs to be an only dog since she’s not fond of other pups or cats. She loves treats of all kinds and she will do whatever tricks she is asked to do for a food reward. If you are the one who will snuggle with me please contract Town and Country Humane Society and set up a time to meet me. Thanks to our amazing Angel Sponsors, our long term pups now come with reduced adoption fees, alleviating financial road blocks for some, and making it even easier to open your heart and home to a furry friend. The adoption fee is $100 plus tax and covers age appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter.  Applications are typically worked in time stamp order based on date/time of submission, we then choose the best applicant for our dog.  If you have other dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee.  It may save you a trip to bring them with you when you visit, if you are certain you want to adopt a new family member. *****We are currently operating by appointment only.   If you want to meet this pet, or are interested in adopting, please submit an application found at www.townandcountryhumanesociety.org or email to tchspapillion@gmail.com.  Someone from the rescue will contact you and/or your family and determine, on a broad level, whether you might be a fit for the animal.  If so, they will provide instructions for completing the application. Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted to set up a time to meet at the shelter or the foster home.   The introduction between you and the pet will be supervised by one of the dog counselors or the foster.   If all goes well, you can adopt during the same visit. Please be sure to follow us on Facebook to learn more about Town and Country Humane Society and our mission.   ##1311186##
