Meet Kiwi fostered in Sioux City!! Name-Kiwi Age-6 years old Breed-American Bulldog What was your life like before NDCB/Where did you come from? I lived in a homeless camp with my human. She decided to give me up to have a better life. Who is your main caretaker/favorite person now? My foster mom Are you good with kids? What age ranges? I have lived with 3 year old and up Are you good with other dogs? I live with two other dogs and I like the ok. But one doesn’t like me much so I do get a little grumpy. I’d rather live with older more settled dogs who aren’t bossy. Are you good with cats? I have never met one Are you housebroken? What is your current potty routine? Yes- I would never potty in the house!! Do you like car rides? Love to go go go Do you like walks? How are you on a leash? I love to go for walks and I listen pretty good. I know a few commands too Do you like toys? What is your favorite toy?I love stuffed toys!!! Do you know any commands/tricks? I don’t know any tricks but I do pretty good with the basic commands like sit and down How are your house manners?I don’t get on the couch or beds unless my human says it’s ok Describe your personality-I love getting pets and being with my people. Ziggy is an American Bulldog mix, born Nov 2023.  Ziggy is very social with people and loves to interact with everyone, including young kids (although he might be better in a home with older kids, age 6+).  He seems to know when to be gentle and when it's okay to be hyper.  Ziggy is a very happy and active guy.  He loves to give kisses and he will lay on the couch with you (sometimes on you!). Ziggy likes to play fetch and knows some commands.  He is potty trained and will hold it while his people are away.  Ziggy is crate trained as long as you have a treat to give him when he goes in.  He will be okay with just a blanket in his crate.  (Anything else and he is likely to chew it up!)  Ziggy enjoys being active and he is leash trained, but he does pull a little initially especially when he's excited.  He needs a fenced yard where he's allowed to dig occasionally. Ziggy is very food motivated and territorial about his food and toys.  We believe he would do best in a home where he can be the only animal. Please help us find Ziggy an active home where he gets lots of love and kisses! The suggested adoption donation for Ziggy is $400, which includes a lifetime of free relationship-based training for any behavioral problems (not obedience training).  Muddy Paws is a 501c3 non-profit organization meaning that part of your donation MAY be TAX DEDUCTIBLE. We are a 100% volunteer rescue committed to giving animals a second chance at life. All donations go toward that mission. Adoption fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. Meet Sassafras "Pup-eesha" Neylon. I got her from a guy friend I used to see. I have had her for 1 year. She is a great dog but I am in a position where we have to move and I can no longer afford to keep her. I never wanted a dog but I have grown to love her so very much. She is the goodest girl! Very calm and sweet demeanor. Cautious and a little scary about new things but adjust quickly. She is great with kids (I have a 7 and 9 year old) Not to sure about other dogs only bc she hasn't really been around other dogs much. She loves cuddling and is a little spoiled lol. She like chew toys and teddy's alot! Over she is a great dog and I would like to find a good home for here to grow and be happy with forever. I am her only owner and I am nervous about the process but I am hoping to find responsible, loving new parents for her.

Babie is a sweet and friendly girl. She is housebroken and crate trained. She is an athletic girl, enjoys being active and needs a fenced yard with a TALL fence - no short 4' fences for this girl! Bonus points if you have a large yard with room for her to run and stretch her legs! She is also leash trained and would love it if her person enjoys being active just as much as she does. Sometimes she can be reactive to other dogs while out walking. Babie gets along with kids, but sometimes she is not too sure of them. She has too much energy for little kids and would probably be okay with age 6 and older. Babie does not like to share her food. She needs her own personal space for meals so she feels comfortable. Help us find Babie a new home! Layla is an adult Boxer (born 2021).  Layla is eager to be loved and is a great snuggle partner when it's time to wind down or go to sleep.  She's housebroken, crate trained and friendly with other dogs.
