Story
This handsome boy is Mogli (b. 2022). He is a friendly American Bulldog/Australian Shepherd mix looking for a loving home. Mogli is housebroken and good with kids of all ages. Don't let his size fool you, he would love to sit on your lap and give kisses. He would be best with a fenced yard where he can run and play.  Watch your front door if he's around, an open door is an invitation for him to explore on his own!  If you have a lap and a yard, Mogli would like a play date with you. The suggested adoption donation for Mogli is $400, which includes a lifetime of free relationship-based training for any behavioral problems (not obedience training). Muddy Paws is a 501c3 non-profit organization meaning that part of your donation MAY be TAX DEDUCTIBLE. We are a 100% volunteer rescue committed to giving animals a second chance at life. All donations go toward that mission. Adoption fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals.  In 2022 alone, we provided animal Healthcare totaling over $390,000 covered mainly through adoption fees. Information about the adoption process: All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application has completed our prescreen steps, we will put you in touch with the animal’s foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the animal. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver.  Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks, and a Home Visit (Virtual in some cases)  during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each animal, based on the animal’s needs. If you and the animal are not a good match, we will help you select another animal, or we will keep your approved application on file for 6 months.  To learn about Muddy Paws Last Chance Rescue or donate to our animals, please visit our website at MuddyPawsSecondChanceRescue.com or our Facebook Page Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue Inc. Hi Peaches! Peaches is an American Bulldog mix puppy (b. 10/2023) and is ready to steal your hearts! Peaches is dog friendly and stranger friendly, and even knows some commands. She is also housebroken! Peaches still has a lot of puppy energy, so she will need a fenced in yard to help contain her excitement. Due to her puppy energy, a home without children might be helpful. Do you have room in your home for another pup? Fill out an application for Peaches today! Story
Please contact Terri (tavalquier@outlook.com), (402) 504-2913 for more information about this pet.Sweet Doggie  His name is Bentley.   He is approximately 3-4 years old. He has been neutered, received all his vaccines and rabies, and is microchipped. We rescued him a little over a week ago and are fostering him.  He was abandoned on a farm.   He has been a good boy.  He walks well on a leash, loves to play in the water, plays fetch.   He does bond quickly with his person and is very protective of them. We would recommend being the only dog for that reason. He may need some additional training on not being so protective.   He has done well with small kids but he is strong so I would say make sure your kids know how to be gentle.  He does like to be inside with the humans.  I would recommend a female adopter; he does not care for men.  The perfect adopter would be a single female with older children because he has really bonded to us and will bond with a loving person.  He loves to play and cuddle as well.  You are welcome to come by and meet Bentley at our home if you are interested in adopting him.  We can also bring him to your home as well.  If you are interested, please private message me.  His adoption fee is $250.  July 26, 2024, 1:09 pm

Story
Topaz is a handsome, young Scott American Bulldog, born 3/27/2021. He is a super snuggly, very smart boy who knows basic commands (sit/stay/down/shake/kennel) and is looking for a home that can help boost his confidence and provide him with consistency and love so that his goofy, fun-lovin' personality can shine. Topaz prefers adult conversation and company. He's totally down for chill, adult-only dinner parties on the patio and will settle right in for an evening of fireside chats. Topaz chuckles and rolls his eyes when you ask about his potty behavior, "Are you kidding me? Of course I'm housetrained... who would do that inside." This smart boy is crate trained, 5 stars on a leash (enjoys walks), and so eager to please. He loves car rides, the open road, and you by his side. Topaz, as your forever buddy, will snuggle up in bed and is always up for a night of Netflix and popcorn after a busy day. Due to some experiences he had as a young pup, Topaz will require more than one meeting because he can be slow to trust new people. However, once you've made it into his circle of trust, he's all yours with lots of love to give! Apply today to meet Topaz and see if you're his match!  The suggested adoption fee for Topaz is $365. Bullies-N-Beyond ResQ is a non-profit corporation that is 100% volunteer operated. Adoption fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. All dogs adopted through BNBR are adopted with DHPP, Rabies, Lepto and Bordetella. All dogs will also be adopted out as already spayed or neutered if old enough, or a voucher will be provided once the dog becomes of age. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. BNBR does not adopt on a first serve basis. All available dogs are adopted based on their needs to provide the best fit home. ##1632418##

Story
FOSTER UPDATE: Three cheers for foster parents! Welcome to a little "magic moment" of rescue... Nova Lee's foster mom has been working with her on "stay" for some time and we are happy to share that it's been worth every minute. Nova Lee is no longer a door bolter! This smart girl is heading on to her next command "place," so her future family can look forward to a very smart, well-behaved sweetheart that's probably better trained than any teenager in the house... Nova Lee is a fun-loving Boxer Terrier who was born in April of 2016!  Nova Lee is a smart, busy girl who loves playing fetch, long walks, squirrel watching, and yard games; she's also quite the explorer so will need a backyard with a 6' fence to keep her close to home. She is a friendly girl who gets along with all people but she does NOT enjoy sharing her space with other dogs or cats.... as far as Nova's concerned she's the only 4-legged friend you'll need! She knows basic commands like "sit," "shake," and "ball," but her future family might be interested in working on "stay" --  Nova has learned indoor manners and is perfectly content keeping your spot on the couch warm while you're away from home. Because of these good manners she is not kenneled regularly, but on the rare occassion when she is (out of town visits with family, for example) she pouts for a bit but settles down on her own. Nova is 100% housebroken and will whine to indicate that she needs to go outside to potty. Nova is working on her leash manners... she gets excited and pulls but is working through it with her foster family. According to her foster mom, Nova growls when you play tug of war with her but in a playful way; however, due to her high energy and playful personaiity we think that any kids in her future home should be over the age of 15. Recently, her foster mom discovered that Nova has taken a liking to a particular house slipper... she says that Nova doesn't chew on it she just carries it to her bed and sleeps with it like a stuffed animal! This sweetheart is eager to find a family that will give her the attention, love, and all the birthday cake she deserves! NOTICE:  Nova is dog reactive and is working with a trainer on this behavior.  However, she WILL REQUIRE adopter to work with a trainer free of charge to provide a continuity to her training and help her transition to a new home. The suggested adoption donation for Nova Lee is $265. We are a 501c3 organization which means that your donation may be TAX DEDUCTIBLE. Your donation goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our animals in rescue, as well as providing supportive services to animals in homes. Information about the adoption process:  All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application is approved, we will put you in touch with the dog’s foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the pet. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. Story
Jules, a Bull Terrier born in June 2018, is on the search for a compassionate family that can truly connect with her. She thrives on attention, exercise, and affection, longing for a home that can meet her needs with love and dedication. Working closely with her trainer, Jules has mastered the art of remaining calm and redirecting herself when excitement peaks, marking impressive strides in her development. Reveling in cuddles, belly rubs, and playful sessions of fetch, Jules is discovering the joys of companionship and play. Embracing a structured routine has been key for Jules, providing her with a sense of stability and confidence in her daily life. While she may need time to adjust to new stimuli, offering her a secure environment with a consistent schedule will help her flourish. Jules' preference for being the sole pet warrants a home that can focus on her needs exclusively, offering support, routine, and encouragement to help her thrive and feel content. Before applying to adopt Jules, you need to be familiar with your local breed-specific legislation regarding Bull Terriers. Applicants must live within 50 miles of the Omaha/Council Bluffs area so can work with our free trainers, or must be willing to pay for own positive reinforcement trainer to work with Jules. Spay/neuters completed elsewhere will be reimbursed $80/dog or $55/cat once proof of alteration has been received by Muddy Paws. Alterations are required for all Muddy Paws adoptions. Story
Say hello to Ronan (b. 10/2021) a box/pit mix.  Ronan is a loving and sweet energetic pup. He loves to play hard with his foster sister, but equally loves to cuddle up on the couch with her and me afterwards. Ronan is a very happy/good natured pup - he always walks with a pep in his step and has the biggest smile on his face no matter what he is doing. He is high energy. He does not yet realize how big he is (almost as tall as me on his back legs - I am 4’11) and sometimes struggles to control his energy when he is excited, but has been making great improvements with training. He learned sit, shake, and stay very quick and is working on lay down and jumping when he is excited now.  The suggested adoption donation for Ronan is $375.  Muddy Paws is a 501c3 non-profit organization which means that part of your donation MAY be TAX DEDUCTIBLE.
