Story
Clove is almost 3 years old. She was rescued in North Carolina from an apartment complex with her other siblings. She is very sweet and cuddly and simply wants to give everyone kisses all the time. She currently lives with my 2 other dogs and gets along pretty well but has moments of aggression with them. I do believe she would benefit in a single dog home. She loves our cat though and constantly wants to cuddle him on the couch. She is well trained and loves learning new tricks. She loves her chews and playing fetch outside, those are her 2 favorite activities. She has no aggression towards humans and no food/treat aggression as well. We simply never planned on having this many dogs and my other 2 are older in years and want a slower life than what Clove needs. She truly is an amazing dog though and deserves a great home!

Story
Topaz is a handsome, young Scott American Bulldog, born 3/27/2021. He is a super snuggly, very smart boy who knows basic commands (sit/stay/down/shake/kennel) and is looking for a home that can help boost his confidence and provide him with consistency and love so that his goofy, fun-lovin' personality can shine. Topaz prefers adult conversation and company. He's totally down for chill, adult-only dinner parties on the patio and will settle right in for an evening of fireside chats. Topaz chuckles and rolls his eyes when you ask about his potty behavior, "Are you kidding me? Of course I'm housetrained... who would do that inside." This smart boy is crate trained, 5 stars on a leash (enjoys walks), and so eager to please. He loves car rides, the open road, and you by his side. Topaz, as your forever buddy, will snuggle up in bed and is always up for a night of Netflix and popcorn after a busy day. Due to some experiences he had as a young pup, Topaz will require more than one meeting because he can be slow to trust new people. However, once you've made it into his circle of trust, he's all yours with lots of love to give! Apply today to meet Topaz and see if you're his match!  The suggested adoption fee for Topaz is $365. Bullies-N-Beyond ResQ is a non-profit corporation that is 100% volunteer operated. Adoption fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. All dogs adopted through BNBR are adopted with DHPP, Rabies, Lepto and Bordetella. All dogs will also be adopted out as already spayed or neutered if old enough, or a voucher will be provided once the dog becomes of age. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. BNBR does not adopt on a first serve basis. All available dogs are adopted based on their needs to provide the best fit home. ##1632418##

Story
Can everyone please share Thea. We are starting the search for her forever people. Thea is an 11 month old exotic bully girl. She was born with a deformed front paw and swimmer back legs (google if unfamiliar). Unfortunately her breeders didn’t know what that was and she wasn’t treated. She has had a LOOOOONG road of learning how to get her back legs working. When she came to us, she was fully splayed out and just army crawled with her front legs and drug herself along. She now has almost full usage of her back legs. She will never fully walk normal but we don’t want to amputate her front paw because even though it’s deformed, she uses it for balance and she needs it! Thea is a stunning lilac lady with the most gorgeous eyes. She gets around quite well but obviously won’t be going on any long walks lol. She LOVES other dogs and would do best with a fur sibling. She does try and chase cats, so either a no cat house or a dog saavy cat house. She obviously can’t get anywhere quickly so as long as the cat is smart, they can avoid her easily🤷🏻‍♀️🤣 Thea loves All humans and wants nothing more than to Netflix and chill with you all day. She loves sunbathing outside as well. She does best on carpet but can get around on harder surfaces. She can book it on carpet though! She can do a few stairs outside but anything more and you’ll need to help her, which she is totally fine with. Thea is a special lady who needs special pawrents to see passed her disability and see how amazing and sweet and gorgeous she is!! If you want an actual potato who will shower you with love, and you have some muscle power to help a 50 is pound land hippo, Thea is your lady!!! She will be spayed, utd on all shots and chipped.

Story
Huckleberry ("Huck") is a sweet and loving Boxer/Pitbull mix, born May 2021.  He really is doing well at his foster home.  He loves to run and spend time with every human he meets.  He really enjoys walks and is getting better with other dogs (a work in progress).  Leash training is going well.  He listens and knows quite a few words and basic commands.  If you are looking for a friend and companion, he is your guy!! Huckleberry is such a loving and gentle dog.  Huckleberry spends his time lounging, exploring the home and asking for repeated hugs during each day.  Huck is an inside dog - he goes out, does his business and comes back to the door after occasional zoomies in which he does laps around the yard in excitement!  He is fully house trained.  He has been left at the house alone several times and is always a good boy.  He didn't touch a thing or get into any trouble! At Huck's foster home, there are numerous contractors in the home for long periods.  He greeted each one and was not bothered by their presence.  He is a very good guard dog and will let you know when there is someone new.  Huckleberry is a lover and enjoys people.  He is very calm and greets his foster parents at the door when coming home.  He is truly the perfect dog and needs a home of his own! Huckleberry needs a fenced yard with a tall fence.  This boy can scale at 4 foot fence, so he'll need a home with a 6 foot privacy fence.  When he isn't showing off his impressive vertical jump, he likes going for walks with his people.  Other dogs tend to stress him out, so he needs to be the only pet in the home.  He's working on this with his foster parents and is getting better when he sees other dogs.  Huckleberry needs someone who will keep working on this with him.   The suggested adoption donation for Huck is $350, which includes a lifetime of free relationship-based training for any behavi/oral problems (not obedience training). Muddy Paws is a 501c3 non-profit organization meaning that part of your donation MAY be TAX DEDUCTIBLE. We are a 100% volunteer rescue committed to giving animals a second chance at life. All donations go toward that mission. Adoption fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals.  In 2022 alone, we provided animal Healthcare totaling over $390,000 covered mainly through adoption fees. Before applying to adopt Huck, you need to be familiar with your local breed-specific legislation regarding Pit Bulls.  Adoptions for Huck are limited to the area within 50 miles of Omaha so that he can continue to take advantage of free training from our certified positive reinforcement trainers. Information about the adoption process: All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application has completed our prescreen steps, we will put you in touch with the animal’s foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the animal. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver.  Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks, and a Home Visit (Virtual in some cases) during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each animal, based on the animal’s needs. If you and the animal are not a good match, we will help you select another animal, or we will keep your approved application on file for 6 months.  To learn about Muddy Paws Last Chance Rescue or donate to our animals, please visit our website at MuddyPawsSecondChanceRescue.com or our Facebook Page Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue Inc. ##2049662##
