This is a courtesy post. Please do not contact Heart of the Foothills Animal Rescue for information. Contact information is provided below.Adrian is a 3-year old American Bulldog. She is spayed and fully up to date on her shots and health checks. She also has papers to be registered. Adrian is very sweet and very protective with humans. She has gotten along well with other bullies. However, she has shown aggression with other dogs outside of her own breed. When the incidents happened, it was around food or close spaces. She would be perfect in a home with a couple or someone that travels. She loves to be on the go. She is crate trained. If you are interested in Adrian, please contact Leah Haney at 704-214-0076.

Story
Woof! Hi there, humans! My name's Pepper, and I've got quite the story to tell. I'm an American Bulldog mix, about a year and a half old, and I tip the scales at a solid 65 pounds. Let me tell you a little bit about where I come from. I ended up in this shelter after a rough time out there on the streets. See, I was dumped on the SC/NC border, left to wander all day long, waiting for my humans to come back for me. But they never did. Animal Control eventually found me, and I'll never forget that ride to the shelter - all I did was cry and mourn, afraid of being abandoned again. When I first arrived here, I was scared and wary of people. But thanks to the amazing staff and volunteers, I've really come out of my shell. They showed me that they're here to help, and I can't thank them enough for that. Now, you'll see me giddy, happy, and full of life, especially when it's time to play! I absolutely love chasing balls around the yard - it's my favorite thing in the world! I'm what you might call people-oriented and a real people-pleaser. I'm super smart too - I've been learning commands left and right, and I pick 'em up pretty darn quick if I do say so myself. I am also super duper housetrained. I never made a mess ever in my kennel! And let me tell you, once I give you my loyalty, it's yours forever. I'm just waiting for someone to see what a special girl I am. Before you come to meet me at the shelter, be sure to submit your adoption application online first. This helps the shelter team ensure that we're the perfect match for each other and that my future family is fully prepared to welcome me into their home. Oh, and one more thing - all of us shelter animals come home spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, and microchipped. So you can rest easy knowing that I'm ready to join your pack, fully equipped and ready to make memories that'll last a lifetime. So, if you're looking for a loyal, loving companion to join your family, look no further than yours truly, Pepper. I can't wait to meet you and show you just how amazing life can be with a pup like me by your side! Woof woof! You can fill out an adoption application for me using this link: https://foothillshumanesociety.org/adopt/adoption-application/

Story
Mya is a 4 year old baby. We have had her since 5 weeks old and love her. We are moving and can't take her with us so need to find her a living home with kids. She is the best dog I have ever seen with young children. We have 4 from ages 1 to 13 and she lives them all never even growled at one of them ever. She did hurt her back leg when around 6 months of age so not super active and needs a nice comfy spot to sleep in. She is house broken and crate trained She does not mess up the house when we are gone just won't stay off the furniture is why she is crated. She has never been around a cat but does fine with small animals in the yard. She loves car rides and cuddles and tends to be a male and kid dog. She still loves females just tends to not think she has to listen to them as well. She is up-to-date on rabies and fixed and microchiped.

Story
I have an American bully. His name is Duke and he’s 2 years old. He’s a great dog. Friendly with everyone. Doesn’t bite other than a little bit of play biting when he gets excited. I’m looking for a good home for him. I have a job that requires me to be away from him for about 14 hours a day. Unfortunately I can’t give him the attention that he needs.
