She is spayed and house trained. She’s also crate trained. She gets along with cats and children and some dogs. She has no known medical issues or allergies. Meet Roxy – Our Resident Comedian & Cuddlebug! If you’re looking for a dog with a huge personality, an even bigger heart, and the ability to make you laugh at least twice a day (minimum!), then allow us to introduce Roxy. She’s got that magical mix of goofy, sweet, and smart that makes her completely unforgettable. Roxy LOVES people—like, really loves them. She’s thrilled to meet every human she sees and truly believes kids are just her long-lost littermates. She greets everyone with wiggles, tail wags, and a little sparkle in her eye that says, “You’re my new best friend!” Around the shelter, Roxy is basically staff royalty. She’s a one-dog comedy show, always entertaining us with her quirky antics, silly faces, and "did she really just do that?" moments. She's a total pro at “sit,” “down,” and “touch” (booping your hand with her nose), and she's always eager to learn more—especially if cheese is involved. She loves her stuffy toys, a good round of tug, and her daily walks. Two to three outings a day keep her happy and balanced, and after that, she’s more than content to curl up and relax with her people. Now, we won't sugarcoat it—Roxy is still working on her manners when it comes to seeing other dogs. She gets very excited, and for now, needs to be the only pet in the home. But with a consistent, confident handler, she’s already making great progress. And really—if having to be an only dog is her only flaw? We think that’s a pretty good deal. Roxy is looking for a home that will love her for who she is: a goofy, loving, endlessly entertaining best friend who just wants to be your one and only. If your house could use more laughter, more kisses, and a little bit of beautiful chaos—Roxy’s ready to move in.

As a puppy, Ava spent her early days in a shelter, unable to get out because of an angular limb deformity. But when she got her second chance, she ran with it (literally!). After a big surgery to help her leg, Ava now manages a little arthritis with medicine—and you’d never know it by how much she loves life. She’s playful, affectionate, and full of personality. Ava would be happiest as the queen of her castle, soaking up all the love and attention she deserves, though she can also get along with a calm, submissive dog. Don’t let her past or her limp fool you—this determined girl can still scale a fence if it means finding her people!
