This is Valkyrie! This beautiful girl came into my life 2 years ago as a foster that I couldn’t let go of. She is spunky and sweet, loves people, and is the ultimate cuddle bug. She has been with my now 6 and 4 year old children the entire time and does very well with them; her best friend was even a cat at one point. Our lives have went through a lot of change recently and it’s been really hard for all of us. For whatever reason, her and my other dog had a serious fight and both injured each other. Due to having my children and due to my other dog being older, I’ve had to make the difficult decision to re-home her. She would thrive in a home as the only dog; she is crate trained, potty trained, and knows some basic commands when she isn’t trying to cheat you out of a treat. She wants so badly to be a lap dog, but is just 70lbs of cuddles and love. She is a great dog. I think she would be able to have play dates with other dogs if introduced properly; she just wants to be dominant.

I am a happy-go-lucky, affectionate and super friendly fella who loves all humans and I get along with other dogs and kids, but I have not interacted with cats yet. I walk well on a leash, do great in the car and I am house trained and crate trained! I love to greet my humans with a wiggly butt and will have a stuffed toy in my mouth to show you. I love to play with any toy, especially any plush toy, but my stuffed moose is my favorite! I am playful and occasionally I’ll get the zoomies. I am great on a leash – I don’t even pull.  I must look big in my photos, because everyone who meets me comments on how much smaller I look than they expected.  I am currently on a novel protein diet and am on a DD diet for my skin and allergies + apoquel. I am still seeing a dermatologist to see if the apoquel will be long term. My ophthalmologist gave me an interior segment dysgenesis of both eyes (my left is a little worse than my right) so I am most likely pre-disposed to glaucoma in both eyes. I will require yearly eye exams for this. I am so excited to find my forever family who will provide me all the love and attention I deserve! Bryce is such a good boy and eager to please. He was found on the steps of the local business where he had likely been dumped. He is a big baby, sweet and affectionate and always ready to play. He would like nothing more than his own family to hang out with, play in the backyard and then curl up in a comfy bed for naptime... Not recommended to be with other dogs **We are a Mississippi based rescue that travels every 3 to 4 weeks up the east coast and to Ohio with our pre-adopted animals to meet with their adopters at a predetermined location.
