I’m an enthusiastic, athletic, and curious puppy who loves learning, exploring, and being part of the action. I’m good with dogs, cats, and kids. I currently live with other dogs of different sizes and two cats, and I do well with everyone. I also LOVE meeting new people and am friendly and excited to make new friends. I’m making great progress with my puppy manners! I ring the bells on the door when I need to go outside to potty, keep my crate clean overnight, and sit nicely when I’m asking for treats. I’m eager to please my humans and pay close attention to them, which makes learning new things pretty exciting for me. I love going for leash walks and am always ready for an adventure, whether we’re heading out for a car ride or simply exploring the backyard. I’m still figuring out how to keep my long legs from getting tangled in my car seatbelt, but I’m working on it! Toys are one of my favorite things — especially anything that squeaks. I also love playing in the kiddy pool, splashing my paws, fishing toys out of the water, and carrying them around the yard. When I get excited, I love to zoom around in big, fast circles. I’m a strong, muscular girl with some seriously impressive jumping skills, and I still enjoy a little backyard parkour — bouncing around the yard, jumping on things, and finding creative ways to turn everyday objects into an obstacle course. After all that activity, I’m happy to settle in too. I love lounging in circle-shaped dog beds and relaxing near my people, especially stretched out by their feet on the couch. I’m also very attentive and take cues from my humans. If another dog barks at something outside, I often look to my foster dad first to see how he reacts. I like to taste-test treats before fully committing, but cream cheese was a definite winner when it came time to take my monthly flea, tick, and heartworm pill. 🥰 This beautiful girl is Cocoa. Cocoa is 6 years old and has a pure velvet coat. She is very smart and PERFECTLY house trained. She has not had any accidents, has no desire to get on furniture, she is curious, but not at all destructive. 🧸 She is also a very gentle dog that loves her toys, but does not destroy them. She can “sit” and give you her paw like a champ. Cocoa would love an active family that would take her for car rides, hikes and runs. She is an athletic girl that excels at ZOOMIES and TWIRLS. Having to find a new home for my dog Bruce and want to do right by him, not just post and hope. Bruce is 7, about 108 lbs, and about as gentle as a dog his size can be. He's amazing with people, including kids, and has never once shown aggression toward a person. He's calm, affectionate, and settled, basically a big lap dog who doesn't know he's big. The one thing to know: Bruce does not get along with another dog in the home and will stand up for himself if pushed. He'd do best as the only dog in the household, or with an experienced owner who can manage a careful introduction if there's already a dog in the house. He needs a fenced yard and a confident handler on leash given his size. I'm doing a meet-and-greet before any placement and would love updates once he's settled. Happy to answer questions about his history and routine. Bruce deserves a soft landing, and I want to make sure it's the right one.

T-Rex is a 4-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier I adopted when he was 11 weeks old from the Columbus Humane Society. He has been the only pet in the house the whole time. Within the last year or two, he started having skin flare-ups from food allergies. He was on a prescribed food and steroids which helped, but it was becoming very expensive and I couldn’t keep up after the loss of my job. I now home-cook his food and he takes a multivitamin, which helps, but not as much as the medicated food. T-Rex really is such a good dog and an absolute sweetie and loves to snuggle. I just can’t afford to pay for the life he deserves anymore.T-Rex is:• Neutered and housetrained• Good with kids• An absolute sweetie who loves to snuggle• A fan of watching dramas, rom-coms, and horror movies on the couch• Managing food allergies that require a specific diet• Anxious during car rides and nail clippingsI just want him to have the life he deserves with the right medical support.💰 Rehoming fee: $25
