I was adopted as a puppy by someone I thought would be my forever mom, but sadly, she abandoned me and left my care in the hands of employees at an animal clinic in Houston, TX. Having spent most of my life in a kennel, I can be a little shy around new people, but once I get to know you, I’ll become your loyal companion and show you just how much love I have to give. I used to have a small breed brother, two cat siblings, and little human siblings, and I got along with all of them. Hi, I’m Mister! I’m a sweet, snuggly bulldog mix, and if you’re looking for a best friend who loves cuddles and attention, I’m your guy! My favorite place to be is right next to my people, soaking up all the love and pets I can get. I also love laying out in the sun and playing with my foster sister! I’m 1-2 years old and almost 60 pounds. I’m potty trained, extra friendly, and great with both people and other dogs. I love to play, but I’m just as happy entertaining myself with toys. Oh, and fair warning—I snore a little when I’m in a deep, comfy sleep (but I think it just adds to my charm). Some of my favorite things? Story

Rocco was dumped in our neighborhood before the holidays and we took him into our home to foster him. He's been a welcome addition to our home and is a big fan of kisses and (whether you want it or not) sitting on you while you're on the couch :) Rocco is a bully breed, so he can be stubborn at times. If he wants pets or scratches, he can pester you. He already knew how to sit, shake, and he's 100% crate trained. He is a bit of a fence guardian, but he'll listen to you if you correct him. The key with bully breeds is persistence and being firm. He might do better with someone who's had experience with the breed or someone who doesn't mind putting their foot down. He does take some time to get used to new surroundings , but he really is a big baby. He's a good guard dog too. He's got a 6th sense about Amazon/USPS delivery persons. He's not much for playing longer than a few minutes, but he does love his rope toy and a nice chew bone. Rocco gets along with our cocker spaniel, but we he might be best to be an only dog if there is another bully-type / alpha dog in the house. Frank is an amazing companion dog. I found him on the streets in 2018 and we became fast friends coming everywhere with me. He trained well follows basic commands and had been a great dog. However, in 2023 I welcomed a son and living situations became tense with a large bully breed in the home. Frank has never show any signs of aggression to people or children. Is more than happy to be your friend and receive all the pets and love you’re willing to give him. But he does have a strong pray drive and dominate personality having gotten into a few fights with other dogs. Frank requires a strong personality that will be consistent and firm. As a stray he has a natural tendency to roam and can be very self motivated if not properly exercised. He was transitioned to an outside dog as he began having accidents in the home. Frank is a very loving and sweet dog that listens well and just wants to be near you or on a soft bed. Oh and he loves food.
